You have to look at the cost of living in NY and LA and the fact that actors have to pay agents, accountants, publicists etc -
I really question marvel skipping 50 years of comic history to get to characters from the last 10 years who proved unpopular with the core fans. There are so many characters who haven’t been adapted yet but they make a show about echo of all people.

I feel like Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen could’ve made a great series out of this. Anyone who’s watched agents of shield pass the first half of season 1 knows they make great tv. Maybe shutting down Marvel television was a mistake.
