  4. Revenge of the Fallen. I don't understand why Sourcerer's Stone is included in the poll. I think is a very decent movie
  5. A good number in Spain is 6 million euros. With the today's dollar-euro exchange ratio (1.34), that's equivalent to 8 million dollar. I think the mark of 6 million euros (8 million dollar) in Spain is equivalent to 100 million in US. For instance, in 2010, in US there were 30 movies with 100 million dollar or more and in Spain there were 29 movies with 8 million dollar or more. In 2009, 32 in US and 30 in Spain with the same limits. In 2008, 29 in US and 33 in Spain. They are very similar numbers of movies.Of course there are exceptions. Avatar grossed 78 million euros in Spain (110 million dollar). That would be equivalent to 1.3 billion in US. But in general it's very accurate. The next one in the ranking is Titanic with 38 million euros (44 million dollar with the 1998 dollar-peseta ratio). That would be 630 million dollar in US (very similar to second highest movie in US that is Titanic too). And ROTK, with nearly 33 million euros (39 million dollar with the 2003 dollar-euro ratio), would be equivalent to 545 million dollar in US (very similar to the third movie gross, The Dark Knight, which grossed 533)
  6. The Planet of the Apes (1968). Really shocking

  9. In my opinion, Titanic is quite overrated (please, don't kill me ). It's just a decent movie and there are several better movies in 1997 than it.
  10. I adore this film. Best PIxar movie with WALL-E and Up. A+
  11. I still prefer TDK, but I think Batman Begins has been very underrated. in my opinion, it's the first adult superhero movie. I give it A
  12. Yes, this weekend finished Tintin's leading. I only hope Tintin to be able to win Breaking Down at the end
  13. I had not watched any Batman movie until I saw both Nolan films. I was not interested on this character. I watched both 2 years ago, at home... Today, The Dark Knight Rises is in my top 3 of most anticipated movies. I liked a lot Batman Begins, but TDK is just a masterpiece. A+
  14. it will depend on the rate exchange. For example, we can't know if the euro-dollar rate will continue with the same value than now.But with the actual value,ROTK would have done 50 million more in euro zone and 30 million more in Japan. And that number without inflation, 3D or expanding markets. In my opinion it's closer 1.3 billion OS than 900/950
  15. L.A. Confidential, As good as it gets and Good Will Hunting
  16. The Two Towers, The Pianist and Road to perdition
  17. Ed Wood, Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction and The Lion King
