  1. @CJohn please edit that picture into a link instead
  2. I could definitely see it being a strange/underwhelming film for a lot of people, so maybe my revised floor would have been 175M (5% less tickets than TDK). But that's something we'll never know so it's not worth dwelling on.
  3. A 25% average drop in attendance post-midnights (from TDK) means that the media's sensationalism and talking down to people was effective one more time. I'm not saying that they wanted this result, it just seems to be the only way they know how to cover stories. And it's depressing and terrible.
  4. B&R was my most-watched live action movie as a kid other than the Star Wars trilogy.
  5. MoS and The Watch got the best reaction (that's 3 times I've seen a crowd love The Watch's trailer).
  6. That character was underdeveloped, only major weak link in the movie for me.
  7. This is why I only watched the stream of the Denver news station yesterday. They didn't sensationalize, they were very careful, didn't even show his face more than a handful of times. Focused on remembering the victims, and while I was watching they never once tried to connect the content of the movie to the shooting.
  8. I have it at around 182 adjusted for 3D, but not IMAX.
  9. Yeah, TDK is laser-focused intensity and excitement, this is just so much bigger.
  10. I think it's my favorite of the three, even with its flaws, though I was in the BB camp going in.
  11. Today is just too surreal and depressing for me to think about the box office like normal.
  12. It was, probably 80% Batfans, ending reaction was insane.
  13. Sounds disappointing, doesn't it? Then again maybe I should have stepped in myself and applauded... My audience reacted to all of those things and more.
  14. Hathaway and Caine were my favorites in this but I was very satisfied with Hardy's Bane.
  15. I'm still completely shaken by the tragedy. Woke up with those images in my head.
  16. This situation terrifies me. It could happen anywhere, to anyone. Millions of people go to movie theaters each weekend.
  17. 'She told whoever she was talking to that she saw bullet holes in the little girls back'
  18. I've gone from the highest of highs to just being depressed and horrified at humanity.
