  1. I don't think critics dislike Snyder or anything..its just that his films thus far haven't been that great. 300 was fun but hollow, Watchmen, while faithful to the comic was not adapted to suit the everyday moviegoer, Sucker Punch was fail and Dawn of the dead was decent. He just doesnt have a good filmography.
  2. 78% is bad..seriously? TDK and Avengers have warped reality for fanboys
  3. lol..its funny really. I have been to numerous comic conventions, i've been part of a bunch of comic forums where these characters are discussed indepth. And i absolutely promise you, i have never seen anyone dress up as the mandarin, or talk about a major comic arc involving him. Until 2 weeks ago, i have literally never seen anyone give a s*** about The Mandarin. Like Ever. So when i go onto SHH and i see the Mandarin Defense Council trying to protect the honor of this 'legendary iron man archenemy'..i'm at a loss for words..lol
  4. Look at us jonesing for numbers..RTH is probably at home like
  5. the rollercoaster is here folks. hop on board..lol
  6. Take it from someone who has been reading IM comics for a decade. Mandarin was never some major archenemy. He just happened to be the one who showed up the most among a bunch of shitty villains. There's a reason he doesn't have a single memorable arc like ala The Killing Joke or Knightfall. Mandarin was a crude racist caricature that has been re-written numerous times because writers still don't know how to go about portraying him in an acceptable unoffensive manner. Comparing Mandarin to the likes of Magneto, Doom, Loki etc is laughable.
  7. lol at calling a $150 million OW disappointing. Some of y'all just went overboard with the predicts..that is still a rather incredibly awesome figure
  8. I never thought i'd see the day when a 150 mill opening weekend would be considered a disappointment..lol.
  9. WOM is not mixed. Its very very positive. It has a 93% RT from over 55 critics. Twitter responses to the movie have been overwhelmingly positive. The vast majority of these mixed reactions are coming from comic book fans who can't get past the mandarin thing
