This start seems pretty good for GOTG. Are comicbook movies successful in Israel? And by the way, did the war against Hamas affected July's grosses?
Tower
This start seems pretty good for GOTG. Are comicbook movies successful in Israel? And by the way, did the war against Hamas affected July's grosses? A quick way to compare Israeli numbers to domestic is to multiply by 100 (the total, not the OW, since legs are better in Israel), if you do that then no Superhero film has matched the domestic numbers. Genres that usually do well in Israel are comedies and animations and also some "pure" action films that aren't superhero or sci-fi, like Fast and Furious, Bond, Mission Impossible, Taken etc. And the fighting definitely had a bad effect, everything had bad drops when the fighting started.

Tower
You're kidding me right fullbuster? It's in top 20. Well, to be fair to Fullbuster, Frozen is the number 1 WW. If you take that into consideration then number 19 is not good, and that is even before you keep in mind that most films before 2007 were not tracked, so it isn't really in the top 20.
