One of Sandler's best films.  Beneath all the zany characters is a really sweet film with a really nice script about heartbreak and recovery from that heartbreak.  Sandler adds his crazy stuff to it so that it's over the top but underneath all of that is actually a painful story that all of can relate to.  We've all be hurt and it sucks.  This film really hits on those areas.  The soundtrack really helps too.
