the characters gave me no reason to care about them or what happened to them. So, as a drama about people, it failed miserably. The 154 minutes runtime made the experience even worse than it actually was. 20/100

The one decent Inarritu movie. Melodramatic but not as self-serious and stupid as his later films, and the pacing is pretty exhilarating.

Pretty good multiple narrative film. Each story has interesting irony & resonance and all the parts of the films are in good harmony.
