Universal’s comedy sequel expanded into 10 more territories this weekend for a total 45. Adding $6M in the frame, Seth Rogen, Zac Efron & the girls of Kappa Nu now have a total offshore kitty of $30M. Globally, they’re at $51.8M. Brazil was this frame’s top opener at No. 4 with $430K at 138 dates. The UK held at No. 5 with $1.2M for a 17-day total of $7.4M; Germany has a total $5.2M and Australia is at $4.7M after 18 days. Those were the biggest markets on the previous film. Although the Greek system is a relatively foreign concept to most offshore audiences, Neighbors 2 is the only comedy in the market and holdovers were generally good despite the arrival of the mutants.
