Fullbuster
I'm pretty happy about Big Hero 6 in Brazil with a release date on December 25th, it will be THE Xmas movie And the competition from the Penguins of Madagascar will be 3 weeks later so BH6 will have a lot of room to grow Edited October 28, 2014 by Fullbuster

Fullbuster
You should make it clear either in a separate post or in the post itself which films are new. I don't have a lot of time but I try to do it anyway so it's already a good thing, next time I will indicate at the end of the post. I don't remember all of these 15 movies I added but I know I added Transformers 4, Lucy, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, 2 Sherlock Holmes movies, 2 Sex & the City movies. Fullbuster
What irritates me when I want to add recent movies is Venezuela..This territory mostly gets these movies later than the other Latin American territories so I need to wait 3 or 4 months to add a movie most of the time! Fullbuster
Thank you for this Henry It's interesting to have admissions numbers! I don't see any movie able to beat TFioS this year, Hunger Games 3 could enter the top 10 with luck.
Fullbuster
About the Brazilian Real : Brazil's real has slumped 3.1 per cent – the worst performance in the world today - to a new nine-and-a-half year low, after Dilma Rousseff won this weekend's presidential election, leading investors to dump Brazilian assets. Ms Rousseff's handling of the stalling economy had led investors to hope that the centre-right's candidate, Aecio Neves, would triumph. But a spate of negative opinion polls had dented their optimism and sent Brazil's stock market and real swooning last week. Any remaining hopes for a change of political direction in Brazil were extinguished on Sunday, and the reaction in Brazilian markets has been predictably gloomy. http://www.ft.com/intl/fastft/226612/post-226612 The Brazilian Real is the main reason for this, it's really low now, not as low as in Russia but still it's clearly a sharp drop so numbers in $ are pretty affected in this Brazilian BO. Hernan Gonzalez
How big is Halloween in Brazil? Is Annabelle going to increase this halloween weekend?
Fullbuster
How big is Halloween in Brazil? Is Annabelle going to increase this halloween weekend? Apparently Halloween is celebrated in Brazil, and is increasingly popular despite this event came quite late there in this mostly Catholic country, the incredible growth of the protestant population maybe played a role. Some links I found : The Twisted Brazilian Version of Halloween While you Santa Barbarans water-ballooned out-of-towners from your Del Playa balconies or handed out candy from your hillside dwellings, I stumbled down the beach among a thousand dead people. Halloween came to Brazil just as it would. Late. Confused. On the beach. Costumed. With caiparinhas [the traditional Brazilian cocktails]. To the tune of funk. In the form of a parade. Halloween is not a Brazilian holiday. But for a Catholic, non-celebrating country, the week surrounding the October/November transition was frighteningly festive. Where the Carioca lacks familiarity with trick-or-treating or bobbing for apples, he or she is skilled in the art of guising. Just as the Irish and Scotts began to do some 200 years ago, people came up with costumes. http://www.independent.com/news/2010/nov/16/twisted-brazilian-version-halloween/ Rio Enters Into the Halloween Spirit RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Brazil’s Catholics traditionally honor their dead on November 2nd, commonly known as Dia dos Finados (or Dia dos Mortos), when they flock to local cemeteries to visit departed loved ones. Once again around October 31st this year, establishments in Ipanema, Copacabana, Lapa and beyond are also getting ready to celebrate Halloween in a style that is becoming as customary here as overseas. http://riotimesonline.com/brazil-news/rio-entertainment/rio-enters-into-the-halloween-spirit/ Edited October 30, 2014 by Fullbuster
