BATB did 11,300,000 with lower ticket prices. @Carlangonz - is Aladdin's 2nd weekend the highest for a 100M+ opener, outside of the mega blockbusters? That sub 30 drop is so rare. Extra-Ordinary ... Even in Brazil & Argentina One Of the Lowest Drop ... Superb Performance All Over .. Thnxxxx .. Edited June 4, 2019 by Sunny Max

Yes. No more explanation. 3 hours ago, carlsalf38 said: X-Men: Dark Phoenix, will not have a great number, I haven't heard too much buzz or anything for this one and people should be tired of the X-Men franchise. PS are atrocious. No Marvel/DC movie has come below $100M since Doctor Strange and I think this time is doable for Dark Phoenix.

Didn't mentioned it in the report but admissions drop was sub-20%. It's incredible given it lost the IMAX, 4D and PLF screens. @Purple Minion not sure what you mean about 'mega blockbuster' but Instructions not Included made a similar amount of money on its second weekend. Need to check if was higher or lower.

Below Coco, Maleficent, Instructions not Included and Toy Story 3. 3rd best week-to-week hold among these titles only behind Coco which increased and Instructions Not Included which fell a mere 16%. 2
Carlangonz
Aladdin looking at $47M+ from weekdays. Already at $21.5M according to BOR. Over $420M by tomorrow (Friday) morning. Dark Phoenix initial screen count is going to be 2,400+. It feels very unpredictable right now, PS for midnights are awful. Solo's level of sales although this is going to be more walk-up friendly. Today may be the last time we see Avengers: Endgame in the Top 10. It should add $2M-$2.5M more and 100k admissions. It took 38 days for it to fall under $1M dailies, should be o/u $1,460M after an historic $603.5M opening weekend off a $246.2M opening day and superb presales which accounted for over $160M+ lc. Purple Minion
What strong legs you have, Prince Ali! Aladdin amasses a magnificent 51.1M lc from Mon-Thu for a magical 426M lc ($21.75M) total. Maleficent's record is reachable, although I have a hunch Maleficent 2 will go higher... Endgame reached 24.5M tickets sold. Edited June 7, 2019 by Purple Minion

Carlangonz
Tickets for Toy Story 4 now up for sale. So far VIP shows are selling extremely well. Surprisingly it won't be holding Thursday night previews but shows starting really early, Perisur has its first shows booked at 9:00 AM. Marketing is also going full-force as it takes more presence on media and cinema chains have started to sell collectibles and merchandise. Looking at $210M+ opening weekend; third for an animation below Minions and Pixar own's Incredibles 2.

Purple Minion
Dark Phoenix OW =$5M, so no 100M lc opener for the latest installment. Meh, but expected. Aladdin had another great hold and probably passed 500M lc, reported total is $25.7M. Godzilla is struggling, total is $8M, may not reach $10M. 5

Awful weekdays for Zilla, awful weekend. Is losing screens quickly. Really bad that ER went to awful levels just when it came out, that's messing up its $10M chances. No words on Dark Phoenix.
Purple Minion
Deadline confirms a <40% drop for Aladdin and that it has surpassed The Jungle Book, but that was a low milestone. It could already be in the all-time Top 30 (500M+ lc), and if it passes Maleficent, Top 20 awaits (600M+ lc).
