  1. If they are previews are they counted towards the OW?
  2. I'm quite new to following the international box office and have no idea how movies behave outside of Europe and America, but logically Sat+Sunday should be bigger than Friday, so 1.1-1.2 mil admissions should be correct. But that's just my guess.
  3. Are those still from the IMAX previews? It has them all week long till it opens on the 3rd?
  4. TF3 opened last year to 622.486 admitions for the whole weekend, so I would say it's very good. Info for TF3 taken from http://insidekino.de...BRTopII2011.htm Thor opened to 666.355
  5. I agree 110%, but I don't know where to find them and I just looked at BOM for the gross. If somebody can find admission for the foreign markets I wold be delighted, but I'm at a loss where to look. And I speak German, yet I still don't know where to find them.
  6. I'm honestly not that surprised. Comic book movies have never made more than 30 mil $ there, even The Dark Knight is at $29,669,980, Spider-Man 3 is at $29,504,724, Iron man 2 managed $9,254,348 and Thor is at $16,007,303. The X-men franchise hasn't even cracked 20 mil.For comparison, American Pie 2 managed $30,812,120 and it came out 11 years ago. The Hangover II made $42,168,493 last year, so I would say normal for the market.
  7. 'Cause its difficult for me to compare and contrast since I'm not that knowledgeable with previous HK numbers, I'm assuming that's good for The Avengers?
  8. 3 year difference in prices + 3D for both Thor and The Avengers
  9. Alien Vs. Predator Freddy Vs. Jason Both movies performed way better than the movies right before them in all 4 franchises and Freddy Vs. Jason is the best performer in both Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm street series. [Even adjusted its 2nd in F13 and still 1st in Elm street].
