BOM just accounts for average 2D price (I think). Dark Knight made a lot more on higher priced imax. Could account for the difference -

Forgot about Up 9/10 beautiful intro with no action. Also Lion King and Tarzan solid 9/10 too.

I'd rate DK intro 9/10 and Avengers 8.5/10. I remember intros of rango, transformers 3, iron man, star wars 3 ild give all 8/10. Watchmans intro was pretty fun too, bit slow.Serenity only one that receives 10/10. Probz forgot alot. How about you guys make a list of memorable intros of a film.

The Dark Knights intro wasnt any better. I dont even remember the deathly hallows 2 opening so it cant of been that good.I dont know why im only comparing to the two best OW films, lolThe best intro hands down to any film iv seen belongs to Serenity, which was also done by Joss Whedon. Really was a perfect intro.

Well this is going to be the new king of box office records on BOM. Its likely to end up with around 15 stealing a lot from Dark Knight and Harry Potter DH2
