Ant-Man's OW is almost identical to TIH and yet it should make an extra 20-25 million domestic.
That's gotta count for something.
Ant-Man's budget is also about 20 mil less.

As far as I know, Aaron Taylor Johnson has not been cast instead of Hunnam yet.
? Thought that was Sam Worthington. My mistake.
-
Is Hunnam still the lead, or did they decide to save a bit on budget by replacing him with
?

Being an eccentric douche hasn't hurt Tony Stark ;p.

Maybe Pixels just wasn't meant to work as anything longer than the Futurama sketch it was based on. Certainly not in Sandler's hands, at any rate.

Haven't seen Kinnaman in anything, but it doesn't feel like he's being inflicted upon movie going audiences the way some of those others were/are. Of course, if that were to change, and if he's a Blandy McBlanderson, then yeah, it'll happen.
-
I'm not auto-hating on Hunnam. It's just some actors feel fully contemporary American, and he's one of them.
Which is funny because he's British, no? Maybe getting to use his normal accent will help, cause otherwise I agree with ddddeeee, he's Worthington levels of bland.

What's a more realistic number for December for a movie like this??
The current December OW record holder is in the 80m range. Star Wars will fairly obviously do more than that, but 120m more seems like quite the jump.

I'm surprised by the strong critical and audience reaction to Trainwreck. The movie is at least 20 minutes longer than it needs to be.
That's every Apatow movie, though.

Before Disney came along the films were getting darker
I don't agree. Thor and Cap 1 weren't in any way dark. And I know it's not the films, but it's still post-Disney, but Daredevil was basically rated R.

Going to see Ant-Man tonight. Does if have a post-credits scene? If so, is it related to the Avengers?
Yes x2.

I thought Yogi Bear was a hit and a sequel was being planned? Then again, I heard that about four years ago.
Dont know if it was a hit or not, but sequel talk is just another form of marketing, really. Especially if its done before a movie hits or very early in its run.

What's the over/under on the cast for this going through bronzer like 80s glam bands went through hair spray?
-
Is it still the late 40's?
'47, I think.
-
Is Ant-Man part of Phase 2 or 3?
2.

Yung will play Elektra, a mysterious woman from Matt Murdock’s past whose dangerous and exotic ways may be more than he can handle. The first season of “Marvel’s Daredevil” made reference to Elektra, but now Yung will portray one of Daredevil's fan-favorite characters. Elektra marks the most recent major addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as she will join Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle in the upcoming season of the Netflix Original Series “Marvel’s Daredevil.”

I dunno, it seems like Guardians may have been for Pratt what Star Wars was for Ford.

Marketing aside, I liked Godzilla, too. Still would've preferred Cranston had been the lead, or at least Olsen, but whatever.

God must have created dinosaurs about 6 thousand years ago, but then also forgot to mention them . So do very religous Christian's who believe the Creation story, believe in dinos?

Kind of surprised the estimate isn't over TA1. If this had been a Paramount flick, that would've been a 100% done deal. Probably the same with actuals, too, whether it actually happened or not.

I hope Stannis gets flayed, and that religious fanatic he listens to.

Based on the concept art that was leaked/released, Storm might be one.

Would depend on Aquaman's budget. If it had GLs budget that would still be quite the flop.
