I'm pretty sure it contributes heavily to video sales getting worse and worse ever year.
Hmm, maybe? But on the list of things affecting hv sales, that's probably near bottom. Like, below "woulda bought the movie, but got mugged by a roving band of larcenous leprechauns on the way to store" kind of low.

Warner Bros is the new Universal and Universal is the new WB.
Btw, Jem and the Holograms must be tracking so well that it was already cancelled in Portugal. That is kinda amazing.
Probably would've been better off releasing the movie directly to ABCFamily, that's about what its production values look like.
-
First Class was pretty average.
I agree. If Fassbender and Mcavoy had been on par with everyone else in that movie (including Lawrence) it would've been a disaster. Fortunately for that film, they were both pretty dang good.
-
Wouldn't cancelling this be a good thing for Agents of SHIELD? Then they'd be able to use these characters and actually pay off their Inhumans shit
Not sure why they'd be upset about this...
Yeah, it doesn't really make any sense.

Both Variety and Hollywood Reporter are saying "Pan" flopped on Friday, and is looking at a low 20's opening as a best case scenario.
Looks as if people are just not interested in "Peter Pan Begins"......
Not surprising.
Pan Ad: There is an ancient prophecy that...
Me: Nope.
It's like they took everything wrong with prequels and packed em into one commercial.

Same place he picked up his $1B budget information. All those TV and comic guys are really drinking it up at NYCC. Does Ike pick up the tab?
Yeah, but he only lets them get water, neat.
-
After hearing those two "songs," the whitewashing is somehow not the most offensive thing about this movie.
-
Weird that Hulk is only a sidekick right now like a greener and more angry Groot.
Makes sense. Film Hulk's vocabulary is roughly the same size.
-
I'm screaming at this manipulation. Godzilla teas
So would now be a good time to tell you that Aaron Taylor-Johnson is also the lead of this movie?
-
Gyllenhall isn't a household name, at least not outside nerds like us. That's the Will Smith, Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lawrence level. He's in the next tier, where you mention a movie he's in and then people go "Oh yeah, him!" Lots of actors in that level.

Carrie is a period movie that's not boring.
-
Does the Star Wars movie Trank got fired from still need a director?
-
And just like that, my interest in this movie is gone as fast as it appeared.
-
More actually. Pacific Rim 2 still has a pulse however faint it may be, Hellboy 3 has been dead, buried, the corpse dug up, cremated and the ashes sprinkled across the seven seas.
We will likely see a Hellboy reboot with a completely new director, cast and studio before Hellboy 3 happens.
Yeah, but saying all that doesn't needle Pacifc Rim fan as much.
-
Hellboy 3 is dead breh.
As dead as Pacific Rim 2.

There will be, this stuff always shakes out a few months before summer. Very unlikely they open so close
It's a shame, though. Part of me will always be disappointed that Batman and Civil War didn't open on the same day. I mean, yeah, it was obviously never gonna happen, but it would've been so glorious if it happened.

Thats a good start. The Hobbit movies were mediocre, but Freeman was consistently great.
Edit - Presumably whoever played Klaw in AoU will be back as well, since he's Black Panther's big enemy and all.
Oh right. Serkis.

Civil War reaction is key but also depends on who the rest of the cast is for Black Panther.
Yeah, all we know right now is Martin Freeman.
-
I wish Sanaa Lathan, Morris Chestnut and Micheal Ealy could get better roles, they've been grinding for years and have a loyal audience. I dont understand why studios restrict black actors to just romantic comedies and thrillers, why not sci-fi, drama, fantasy, action and comic book genres?
These movies would do huge business.
Be interesting to see how Black Panther does. Heck, be interesting to see the reaction to him in Civil War.

I think it'll end up being 2nd behind Guardians so far as multis go.

Didn't see this coming so soon. Misty Knight has been cast, Simone Missick is playing the part. Thought they might save her for Iron Fist.
I’ve learned that Simone Missick has landed the younger female lead opposite Mike Colter, Alfre Woodard and Theo Rossi in the third series in Marvel’s four-series package for Netflix.

I'd say it's more impressive that Ant-Man made as much as it did with such bad advertising going for it. Kind of hope the person responsible for that terrible teaser trailer got canned or demoted.
Certainly, it's more impressive than the c list status or director shenanigans.
