In the normal time line, Wells created the accelerator and it exploded, but that happened 10 or 15 years later than in the time line for the show. When Eobard got stuck in the past, he killed Wells, assumed his identity, and sped everything up by a decade.

Peter Sarsgaard in talks to play the villain. I love the cast for this film.
For some reason your link takes me to http://variety.com/2005/film/reviews/p-1200524064/. Here's a working link just in case it happens for anyone else:

Proper man's film? The fuck is that?
I loved Mad Max but found 300 so forgettable.
I'm assuming he means a film loaded with homoeroticisim.

So Bronn
is a goner, yeah? I'm assuming the sand snakes poison their blades.

I don't have a problem with remakes, either. Looking forward to Magnificent Seven. Liked the Bridges True Grit more than Wayne's. Saw a Japanese remake of Unforgiven a couple weeks ago that, while not quite as excellent as the original, was still quite good and had an ending that I think i preferred over the original's.

Hard to say if the female demo is starting to become a powerhouse, or has been a powerhouse that's mostly been ignored or underserved.

Gamora sliced off Groot's arms when they first met.
Watch out Ant-Man.
Right, forgot about that. And Stick cut off some dude's arm on Daredevil, too. Watch out Ant-Man, indeed.

Also, Secret Warriors.
-
So Phil is the 3rd person during phase 2 to lose his left arm? Bucky, Claw, and Coulson.
edit: Actually, I think someone lost an arm in all the phase 2 movies. Killian got an arm cut off in IM3, though it grew back, and the Thor illusion Loki used to trick Malekith got an arm cut off as well. GotG is on the bubble, as Nebula only lost an already robotic hand.

Looks decent.

Kind of looks like something that could've aired on ABC Family.

Season 2 synopsis:
“Dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home — and perhaps even a new love — she’s about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.”

Robin Hood, meanwhile, was simply a movie that had big box office but zero cultural impact...
Hey, it had that awesome Brian Adams song.

Loki was the impetus for the Avengers initially forming, wasn't he? And Loki had build up in a previous movie, which helped a lot when there was as much going on as Avengers had; they didn't need to build up a brand new character.
-
Loki and Fisk are pretty much the top so far for Marvel villains. Trevor was good, but in the end he wasn't really a villain, just a puppet. Stane and Pierce were pretty decent as well. The rest range from meh to bad.
Looking forward to Bruhl and Tennant's turns in the bad guy department. Tennant probably has a better chance of being good, though, just because he'll have 13 hours of show vs 2.5 hours of movie to develop.

Vergara was ok in Chef. Not a big role, sure, but didn't feel like a typecast situation, either.

If Avengers has a 100m 2nd weekend it would have to be because of last weeks fight. That said, I'm gonna go ahead and expect 80m.

It's also where West Side Story takes place. It has a long, colorful and dark history dating back to to the 19th century.

But as said it's for the most part very gentrified and expensive now and they try to push the neighborhood name as "Clinton" but its still called Hell's Kitchen by everyone else.
Calling it Clinton would only be acceptable if it's after George Clinton. And even then, Hell's Kitchen is far too cool of a name to change for anything else.

Looks like this might be dead. Fine with me, I wasn't particularly looking forward to it.

Wonder about that other rumored show from John Ridley

Didn't Agent Carter do about the same as Agents of SHIELD ratings wise?
-
Wonder if that thing in the carrier's cargo hold is a terrigen bomb.
-
I am tryjng to avoid reading any spoilers, so sorry if its mentioned earlier. Should I watch the agents of shield episode that came out the tuesday before AoU before I see AoU?
I would say yes. It sets up the beginning of AoU. It's not at all like the episode of SHIELD that came out a few days after Winter Soldier and spoiled like the entire movie.

http://www.thewrap.com/marvel-avengers-age-of-ultron-soars-box-office-record-kod/
"Giant screens, 3D and the premiums they bring were huge for “Age of Ultron.” RealD 3D screens brought in roughly $56 million, or roughly 30 percent of the grosses. IMAX delivered $18 million from 364 screens, a hulking $50,000 per-screen average, and eight of the top 10 locations. And the 400 Premium Large Format screens brought in a record $13.5 million, topping the $11.8 million mark set last month by “Furious 7.”
So only 30% 3D share not counting IMAX? Wasn't Avengers 1 like 60%?
Legends of tomorrow. Will star Firestorm, Atom and more. Airing on the CW
in Streaming, TV Series, & VOD Movies

I dunno. The talk of Superman having been the worlds only superhero seems to preclude that. Doesn't mean Flash couldn't still show up, since he can travel across the multiverse. They could also just retcon that bit, I doubt people would mind.
