  1. HT3 would be looking at a 46% Sat-to-Sat decline to get to 5 million. Still playing at over 4,000 locations Teen Titans playing in 3,188 locations gunning for 5 million too. HT3 dailies so far.... should be close. 2. not too many jump scares, but it was still a fun movie. an achievement in this specific horror genre in today's date, and keeps these films alive and kickin'. I usually give B-movie action flicks ratings in the B-range, so I would have to do the same for this one since I got somewhat equivalent levels of enjoyment out of it. 79/80 B- the exaggerated smiles w/ the Truth or Dare bits was funny -spoiler- at the beginning, she opens that tongue artifact and then starts hallucinating and is the first one affected by the game it seems the stakes kept going up as the spirit went from question to question, like those chess or card magic games maybe? perhaps they made a bad call at the end by choosing to stay alive. maybe they got possessed when
  3. this is what happens when they don't go through with the original vision of the giant fish movie that could have cost 200 million in production rather than 150. Assassins Creed 2.0??
  4. Could always do the numbers Fantastic Four was forecasted to put up in August. 4,000+ venues, 45 OW / 125 domestic. Seems to be gearing for 20-30 OW range, in line with Tomb Raider, Pacific Rim, Maze Runner, Skyscraper, Peter Rabbit & Insidious, but under Rampage and Wrinkle in Time. Maybe they will do a last minute horror extravaganza push and get this one to do 50/125.
  5. are the secrets of the Church of Scientology as hard to come by as late night numbers?
  6. thinking 24 Mi6 and 5.4 TT. could be way off. Mi7 looking at +1 reviews over Mi6? Fallout is at 222 positive and 6 ascribed as negative Teen Titans 91% fresh w/ 56 reviews. 70% audience fresh score w/ 1,360 ratings 6.7 w/ 794 votes - IMDB
  7. one of these days a user will be left with no choice but have to get a bunch of internet routers w/ laptops to get reserved seating stats. try to cumulative like 5% of all the running theaters for x amount of time. it would probably annoy the hell out of fandango or whoever would be hosting such activity. good luck. it could bring a hint of #s like election day when a state has 1% of the vote in, and it illuminates up next to the smiling faces w/ a checkmark next to one of the names.
  8. 1998 music album release schedule https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1998_in_music anyone ever tried to start off a year in movies by reading the books adapted from the films, or film to book translations? is there a preferred method? I'm assuming in order to get those Jeopardy/trivial pursuit facts, you would have to plug in like that and go through pop culture decade by decade.

  10. hope making good conversation (and behaving) is not the ticket to getting inside numbers a few hours earlier. the price?
  11. They should be marketing this one like.... O/U Mission Impossible 6, or 60 million opening weekend. They spent the money, now force the product out like what Illumination does with their animated movies. Deliver it and if it flops it flops. Of course, WB might be in position to loose everything they invest in going forward with extra forced advertising and different marketing to make this seem like an out of nowhere mega-tentpole.. But, it could happen. Opening around 30 and hoping for WOM that allows this to play strong over 6 weeks would just be a disaster IMO.
  12. SPOILERS The beginning had me chuckling right before they showed "the Equalizer 2" title. Denzel was giving some speech about having a choice, then the camera zooms out and you see the subway go down the dark tunnel and it says 'Equalizer 2' then two hours later, he is at this condo on the beachfront during an epic hurricane and he is sitting in the couch next to the window as the hurricane-forced waves and crashing and splashing over whatever it can.
  13. Teen Titans almost at 1.5 HT3 on movietickets.com online pre-seller top 5 1 - M:I6 - 39.8% 2 - Mamma - 13.3% 3 - Teen - 9.1% 4 - HT3 - 6.5% 5 - EQ2 - 5.8% HT3 and EQ2 should be looking at 12-15 for the weekend. This small visual data sample (that could be corrupted) indicates that Teen Titans might be crawling up a little more than the low teens it is forecasted to make from Friday matinees. O/U 15 right now would be my guess.
  14. I feel that way in the Unfriended films, as all characters have to be in their chairs in front of the computer, otherwise something bad will happen. I thought the technical aspects of U2 were great though, and the acting was good too.
