  1. thanks for helping me out everyone (sarcasm) found this http://www.cinemablend.com/3d/
  2. bump. it would be extremely inconvenient to see both in 3D schedule wise but I am willing to do it. 2D fits in the schedule perfectly. THANK YOU!!!!!
  3. guys help. Should i see Passengers and Assassins Creed in 2D or 3D today? I have 45 min to decide. Do either of them make good use of 3D the way that Kubo and the Two Strings, Fantastic Beasts, and Doctor Strange do? I was disappointed with Rogue One 3D, seems it would be better for 2D.
  4. these are temporary results based on current projections. Upload all the derby entries into excel. then you can make columns for the projections and use math to generate scores. you can even tinker around with projections to see where scores are headed. Generally you see a particular direction that gives a sense of what went right/wrong for the weekend in cinema
  5. on youtube there is like 10-12 original tracks by the composer
  6. HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE Warner Bros. 2,521 $1,608,340 +31.6% / $638 $258,323,753 / 36 $998,980 -37.9% / $396 $259,322,733 / 37 $1,308,663 +31% / $519 $260,631,396 / 3
  7. I fear Fences, and the expansions of La La Land and Lion will steal adult business from Manchester.
  8. I do not think Assassin's Creed should fall much on Xmas Eve but who knows?? Fri - 3.7 Sat - 2.4 Sun - 4.8 = 10.9 OR Fri - 3.7 Sat - 2.0 Sun - 4.4 = 10.10 Either way, I am totally rooting for this film to have its best day on Christmas Day... Imagine how many copies of this game have sold for XMAS over the years?
  9. Wayy to high for Manchester. I have it doing 3M with that Friday #. Maybe its Friday # will be higher tomorrow morning and match that estimate. I have seen that play out w deadline before.
  10. Independence Day, Mars Attacks!, Eraser, The Island of Dr. Moreau, The Craft, Chain Reaction, Crow: City of Angels, The Frighteners, Stephen King's Thinner, The Arrival, White Squall, Hellraiser 4: Bloodline, Bordello of Blood, Screamers, Bound, Lawnmower Man 2. ^^ I am very bored. Waiting for Deadline to update the #s so i can go to bed!
  11. This is week #52. is this the last week for the year standings?????
  12. this is the first time in my life I have ever considered an oscars boycott. The only thing i was looking forward to this year is rooting for Arrival to win. WTF! Arrival music was much better than Gravity's IMO. Arrival has alot of good tracks too! Return of the King won best ORIGINAL score for crying out loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. financially I think they are doing the right thing by getting this out ASAP. Who knows about quality though.. It seems comedies rely on originality
  14. I cannot help but notice, Collateral Beauty really scored with getting the most out of its two week run with screens. So many older movies just got slaughtered with theater screen drops and Collateral Beauty is safe until 2017. anyone else frustrated with Arrival? It looks like its run to 100M is now indefinitely postponed. And then it got disqualified from best score at the oscars (the only thing i was looking forward to at the oscars this year was this winning this category!). Doctor Strange could have done great business but the remaining locatoins it is at have like 1 showing per day. Trolls could have done well. Allied would be perfect for a re-release. Fantastic Beasts and Doctor Strange run at 250M is dead. ughhh, and now its Moana vs Sing for 250. Why does it always have to be the animated ones? i wish for once it was either a Marvel or a Harry Potter that could get to 250 or beyond
  15. I think it should be that way from all sources. It gets frustrating otherwise. If you look at the dailies and notice the small dip for Jackie from Wednesday to Thursday, i bet that is actually an increase. Comparisons with opening day to the second day are just impossible for smaller releases.
  16. well good for it holding that well on Sunday!!! I am not trying to be a Troll or anything, but I am disappointed with the opening weekend box office for Rogue One. I had it at 200.66. If Avengers and Jurassic World can, shouldnt Rogue One too??? I thought Star Wars transcended December. I do not need any analysis of why TFA opened so high, i have read it all. Just from a box office Star Wars die hard POV I am disappointed, that is all!

  18. I am flattered but I think Dr Strange and Trolls will drop just enough to give JMorph the win
  19. The Disappointments Room Girl on a Train: Rachael I haven't seen you in a million years. Goonies: Mention of Gremlins Coming to America: Guys from trading places ET: ET is probably part of the Star Wars universe...ET recognizes yoda at Halloween and ET can even lift objects with his mind. It is possible that ET is some sort of jedi. At the end of Friday 9, Freddy's glove surfaces and takes Jason's Mask down with him to hell. The Expendables: When the three guys meet in the church, Bruce asks what Arnold's problem is. Sly replies that he wants to be president. The Rock: Although unconfirmed, there is enough evidence to support the theory that Sean Connery's character in The Rock is really James Bond Not so subtle, but Richard Dreyfuss reprises his role of Matt Hooper in Piranha 3D, same clothes, sings show me the way to go home. Nick Fury could be Jules from Pulp Fiction. In captain America, his grave stone has the famous bible passage from Pulp Fiction: Ezekial 25:17 Tarantino has a lot of subtle winks or connections and one of the better one is that Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction are connected. The Vega brothers are Mr. Blond and Vincent. Chasing Amy: Alyssa's best friend did a dead guy in the bathroom, a reference to Clerks
