I don't have high hopes for justice league. Even though I prefer the team more than avengers. I'm a big thanos fan. Not as big as darkseid but I think the marvel cosmos is far more interesting and developed than the shit dc has. Other than anti-monitor and darkseid, dc space villains are bland while marvel has galactus which owns everythingThe AVENGERS isn't going down any time soon, so it's going to be a long time before this happens.. A JUSTICE LEAGUE Movie has more potential right now to fail then The AVENGERS..

i've accepted it mate. Its Avengers time now. I've said it a few times before. But what i was refering to was the bar that TDK set that many filmmakers are trying to emulate.You can't convince the Nolanites of this Walt.. They'll cover there ears at the mere mention of this...
But as you can't beat it on a filmaking standpoint you marvel fans have to bring up the boxoffice, because clearly that is what you all care about. Couldnt take that a DC movie was so big. Even if Avengers turned out to be shit you would still be jumping up and down. Mark my words, Avengers will go down one day. And when it does, be ready....

OMG i just read a review of A Serbian Movie.IMO, most insulting movie to society is The Serbian Movie. It`s a quasy snuff porn + torture porn but the fact that they named it after entire nation, as if it represents the said nation or its cinema, is beyond insulting.Also, that Angelina Jolie anti-Serbian movie. The Crusader`s from Serbia so I`m very sensitive to one-sided bashing of his countrymen.
Raping women than decapitating them and than going all necro on their bodies, Raping his son and worst one...rape of a newborn baby. Shocking! How could any actor agree to this. This is just vile. Felt sick just reading that review

People need to cut Bay some slack.The rock= the best action movie of the 90'sBad Boys= how can you not like it.Im one of the few who liked armageddon. That final scene of bruces willis' life flashing before his eyes, is heartbreaking.Transformers. Up there with Avengers for me. Great story and great action.Transformers 2-3 though may have amped up the action but the story was lacking and each movie contradicted the previous installment.

you can't compete with imax sound. Picture quality though always seems blurry to me. Especially TDKR. The imax scenes looked amazing but the normal film was too blurry. Noticed it in TDK and also Superman Returns. Imax digital's picture quality was better when i saw Avatar, ASM and also Hobbit on it.

Plenty of time to put things in orderHow is that not a plot hole:Can you tell me when and how Bruce Wayne managed to set a gasoline fire on the bridge in the shape of the Bat (Ruining surprise effect, lame for a supposed trained ninja), randomly find Selina coming out of nowhere, save Gordon and Blake, put all of his legal affairs in order, leave detailed instructions and GPS coordinates to Blake in a bag at his lawyer's office and fix the Bat-symbol on the top of Gotham Central...When there's ONLY ONE DAY LEFT to save the day after he came back in Gotham?!!!

That dialogue was the worst in the whole trilogy. Was so cheesy. Ill admit to it. I still can't get over it. That dialogue and miranda tates death scene are all I have gripes with in the movie. Also the whole police force in the sewer. That's it really.The end fight it think stood out at that pillar scene where bane just went nuts. Most memorable scene for everyone that I know who saw it.No one ever mentions the worst part of TDKR. The WORST part. "So, you came back to fight for your city?" "NO. I CAME BACK TO STOP YOU." *Commence bad fight choreography. Seriously, the sewer fight is SO much better than this.*

Baumer mate you can read articles that bloggers have written to answer these arguments of yours. But there will always be people who just wont accept it. Its fine, but the answers are there. you dont have to be a genius to figure them out. Some movies people can never like, no matter how many times they watch it. Like for me its twilight. I think no matter how many times somebody justifies it to me, it will always be a god damn shit of a movie. I find it insulting....*rushes to 'most insulting films to society thread'*But this isn't a thread about Twilight.

The back issue: Look its a CBM so ofcourse its going to have some fantastical ideas. Perhaps it was a lesser injury. So, it’s probably best to just assume that Bane didn’t necessarily break Batman’s back, but displaced a vertebrae or caused some lesser injury. At the end of the day, you have to suspend belief a little here, and appreciate that we got some awesome fan service and one hell of a fight scene in return for removing a little believability. Even though nearly five months have passed by the time Bruce returns to Gotham, it’s still impossible to recover from a broken back in that time – not one to dwell on really.Uhhh...NO! You can't explain how you fix someone's back by hanging them upside down and then punching them in the back. You can't explain why every cop goes into the sewer. You can't explain why Bruce can find Selina in the middle of the city, but he can't find Luscious. You can't explain how Batman had all day to drop gasoline down the side of a building without anyone seeing him. You can't explain why the stock market would allow any of the trades to go through after they were compromised. You can't explain why Miranda didn't just kill Bruce when they were having sex. You can't explain why Bruce didn't just punch Bane in the face in their first fight. You can't explain why a city would get completely ignored by teh US government just because someone says they have a bomb.
Like the film all you want, love for all I care. But don't say there were plot holes the size of the Grand Canyon in the movie.

about the gasoline without anyone seeing him: he is a trained ninja...being invisible is what they do. It was great scene to give the people of gotham hope. Dont see the issue here. Who wants to see batman dangling on a rope throwing gasoiline on a bridge?
About the stock market: well they explained that it will take time to prove fraud. But also the city was taken over straight after, so what time did Bruce/Lucious have file the paperwork?? Its a weak answer i agree but its all i got.
Miranda killing bruce: she wanted to get laid. Also their plan was to punish bruce, to see him fail wheres the logic in killing him straight away. Which movie would do that?
banes mask: Bruce was punching him in the face in the first fight. it took the hooks on his wrist to snap nose pipes off. Something he didnt use in the first fight and barely had time to as he got his ass handed to him.
government issue: the government had readings of a nuclear bomb being detected. i would stay the fuck away too:) Would have expected some more rescue missions etc but then what would batman have left to do?
Also before someone else throws the ice issue: In Batman Begins, Bruce is trained how to fight on the ice, and it’s pretty clear that Nolan is mirroring that origin story in TDKR – Batman needs all the strengths he’s gained in this final chapter. So, perhaps, Batman has some serious ice skills, and is able to walk across with some ease – he “pays attention to his surroundings” Also, Gordon never gets as far across the river as the earlier victims did, and since the winter weather is probably colder, it’s also safe to say that the ice would be considerably thicker nearer the river’s edge.

dont know what bootleg version you were watching but those missiles were far from sloppy cgi. Nor did the batwing look cgi at all. it was actually pretty difficult to distinguish between practical effects and cgi in the movie. It was well done.Just because a movie is highly rated doesnt mean it needs to be nominated for anything. I agree there were like 1-2 people who were pushing it to win awards etc on this forum, but by and large everyone knew it had no chance. If TDK couldnt this wouldnt either.As i replied to BKB, this forum has passionate people but not nutters like KJ. I think if you want to hate on nolan fans, that would be the place to go. Bar a few people we are all cool here:) Its one of the reasons i only come to this forums to talk about movies. There is so much difference on opinion. Makes for interesting conversation. People like BKB and even you i have no problem with. I enjoy the discussion. I just believe the hate has to stop now. Its always BKB or you who is bumping this thread up but yet are also always asking it to be closed aswell.Inception had way less CGI than IM2 and AiW but it won so it's a moot point. Academy don't reward Best Visual Effects on the amount of CGI overuse.But I agree with you.
