  1. It is still good for me unless it is below $440mil (my lowest prediction) considering shooting, no Joker and Olympic factors etc. The good news is overseas doing good but China might be having a big risk there, which it may be banned from entering.
  2. Following wat Rth said, it is also true that Friday is overestimated for 20.1mil~
  3. My lowest prediction, if weekend can do at least $120mil, it should have no problem to at least $550mil. So cume around $270mil OS
  4. Better than not opening. If TDKR can open in China, well there will be at least 50-100mil
  5. If it is opening in China, there is a chance but I feel the chance is a bit slim.
  6. In Malaysia, TDKR's opening weekend more than doubled TDK's opening weekend, but $1mil behind TASM's opening weekend. So in Malaysia, it is likely behind TASM for entire run, but should not be falling far behind. But, it is sure that TDKR's entire run will also double TDK in 2008 which only made around $2.7mil.
  7. Yep, thanks~Batman's film has never been so successful in Malaysia. TDK ranked #9 with only $2.7mil USD.And now TDKR's OW has more than doubled TDK's OW ($1mil), it opened at $2.3mil.Really hope the total run will double TDK as well, around $6mil+
  8. THR reports TDKR has now made a total of $110mil as of Tuesday.
  9. In 2008, China had a strict 20-film per-year quota and "The Dark Knight" never played there. Warner Bros. has received the go-ahead on "The Dark Knight Rises" from Chinese film authorities, but has not set a release date. When it does bow on roughly 4,000 screens there, it should have a good shot at breaking the record $58 million bow of the "Titanic" re-release earlier this year. http://movies.msn.co...spx?news=745672 Is it 100% sure it will not be opened in China? Else it will be very very very disappointed =( Chinese's WIKI page here stated the opening date in China has been pushed till after summer. >> http://zh.wikipedia..../wiki/黑暗騎士:黎明昇起 Another page with release date: September 2, 2012 (it is Sunday, so I feel weird, other source: Aug 30) >> http://moviesoon.com...k-knight-rises/ These are all the source I find, but still need confirmation from friends from China ^^
  10. Just do a rough calculation and this is my lowest prediction, with week to week basic dropping % more steeper a bit than TDK, $460+mil domestically. For international markets without China, it should AT LEAST be able to get $550mil. So, 1bil should be no problem form TDKR, but I would hope it is able to make top 5 of all-time chart worldwide =)
