  1. Sorry to be blunt, but what are you actually smoking? There is no way Frozen gets to $1B OS. Like no way. Ever. That would mean almost $400m in Japan. I can see $900m possibly happening but $1B just no.
  2. Just won a competition at Event Cinemas George St :)Going to an advance footage screening of TF4 this Wednesday
  3. It's not surprising the opening was that big. I was in a 7.30pm Session on Sunday night and it was packed. A really rare thing for the site I was at.
  4. Never did I think Lego would get near $30m and outperform North America (comparatively).
  5. That's still really impressive after already burning off over $2m last weekend.
  6. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute to Frozens Japanese run. It's an aim of mine to see a movie in every country I go to.
  7. So happy that IM3 is going down. Frozen #1 WW 2013.Whoda thunk it?
  8. Yeh it's really strange. 3D TASM kinda just died.
  9. Just like I thought, TOW tanked in the face of competition.
  10. So what's Frozen looking to be at come the end of this weekend?
  11. Well considering the least successful film has made $700m WW and only increased from there, something tells me there's been at least some standard of quality from the beginning.
  12. It's funny how, with China, I'd be disappointed in anything under $700m OS...That being said, I'm predicting, for now, around $850m OS.
  13. Yeh but bad neighbours is apparently doing well this weekend and it's only "previews". Full expansion might get in the way of $20m.That being said, I still have a tiny little bit of hope in $20m, but definitely not $30m.
  14. I'm still not sure about $20m.. It could crash with comedy competition.
  15. Phenomenal second weekend for TOW.Absolutely hilarious that it will outdo spidey.
  16. International love for a movie does not equal want of a sequel.Some.. sorry most.. things are best left as is. A sequel can tarnish the memory of a film.
  17. US4.14m 2nd weekend for TOW!!!That's UP on last weekends long weekend?!??
  18. That's what they get for unnecessarily rebooting a franchise which had only ended 5 years earlier.
  19. That's really strange that Lego dropped so much. And being the day brier school for most, I can't see Monday having saved it. But damn.. The Other Woman.. Female comedies are really the leaders now..
  20. More importantly, how did Lego and Cap go? Lego should be close to, if not above, $23-24m
  21. TASM opened on Wednesday last time, so the comparable 4-day weekend in AUD will basically be the same, if not a bit higher for TASM2.First 5 days should easily see TASM2 take the lead.
  22. I wouldn't be surprised at a slight increase for Lego. If it were a normal weekend, it would probably be flat/decrease slightly because of back to school prep, but I guess people have Monday for that.
