I have it on good authority that Penelope Cruz will make a small cameo appearance in the pre-titles of 'Spectre' playing an agent named Estrella.
It was initially hoped last year that another role could be sought for her but as the script developed the characters begun to move in a different direction.
Cruz will only appear in the pre-titles and she will join the production in May when they head to Mexico for a week's filming.
The character details check out with the scripts.

Mockingjay is literally the only film for which there haven't been estimates released....LGF waiting to announce that #1 DOM tomorrow?

Saw the theatrical cut today.
Definitely has potential, major fault though is the dialogue which a longer cut won't unfortunately fix. Apart from that though, very visually arresting, but due to cuts for runtime very clinical and just methodically moving from event to event with little to no dramatic build-up/transitioning at all.

Richmond Valentine (Samuel L Jackson): "Do you like spy movies, Mr. De Vere?"
Harry Hart (Colin Firth): "Nowadays they're all a little serious for my taste. Give me a far-fetched theatrical plot any day!"
The dialogue above perfectly encapsulates Kingsman's position in today's movie landscape - while it is, like Guardians of the Galaxy (which this is the 2015 equivalent of to be very blunt), an over the top and, amongst all other tentpoles, may stand out as a sore thumb so to say, it still never lets up of its craft and still manages to be an incredibly enjoyable and satisfying film; a breath of fresh air amongst all the "darkness" of other releases. This film manages to achieve everything that GOTG did (for the comic-book space fantasy genre, but here for the comic book spy genre) but better, probably, in my opinion, because of the sort of freedom this film (I think) got in the creative process, and the going all "balls out" thanks to the lack of rating constraints that the film makers had to adhere to, at the same time as staying classy and avoiding being juvenile, likely due to the implications of the spy genre.
The script and story may sound silly on paper, but this proves that with the right director, the audience will go along cheerfully for the ride. Kudos also to Vaughn to making this film very identifiably British, there are bits in there that someone who's aware of the socio-cultural going-on will definitely appreciate, while for those not int he know it provides a nice window into this that is much better than other British-centred tentpoles do which do seem to be a bit more Americanised that you would expect. The amount of moments that totally are worth seeking this out with a packed audience for is also immense and the audience reactions and involvement are brilliant, and I was completely sold on the twists and turns of the story, despite them being pretty damn far fetched and all.
One thing this film got absolutely perfect is the pacing - it never let up, from the completely crazy action scenes (with two scenes in particular being absolute and complete highlights that will no doubt have your theatres erupt) to the more emotional scenes, which the cast carried through perfectly, even better than most films of this type. Colin Firth and Taron Egerton were the real highlights of the cast, with the chemistry between the two characters being the real centerpiece of the film. Mark Strong, Sophie Cookson were also brilliant in their supporting roles and their camaraderie with the two leads. The only weak point was probably Michael Caine, but in a couple of scenes he definitely stood out, and Samuel L Jackson was really great if not way too much on the hammy and scenery-chewing side.
Overall, it is extremely satisfying, way more so than a lot of other similar films, and sets the bar extremely high for 2015 films. Only shame is that unlike GOTG it can't be as big a breakout box-office wise, despite this being the superior movie. One reason is the rating, but the other is that there is yet another "fandom phenomenon/crazy fangirl" movie, that is also R-rated, coming out the same weekend in the US...
9/10
P.S. The 20th Century Fox UK screening room is seriously awesome, incredibly enjoyable atmosphere and audience to watch this with!

Sony have taken down the biggest downloaded copies of the movie from KickAssTorrents (I've never seen that happen before).
I'm also guessing that more people pirated the movie, than actually went out and saw it. There was more than 500,000 downloads last time I checked
Worldwide? Yes, definitely, by far. For everyone outside the US/Canada/Puerto Rico piracy's the only way to see this apart from having to use a US proxy and some Google Play/YouTube workarounds. No idea whether this will get intl. release.

Yeah, that's another reason I'm waiting to see about Netflix. Would rather see it in a theater (one that's conveniently close by) than take that sort of risk.
Unless you go through Google Play which actually goes through PayPal now which is nice

40 MINUTES!!!!!
http://googleblog.blogspot.co.uk/2014/12/the-interview-now-available-on-google.html
Last Wednesday Sony began contacting a number of companies, including Google, to ask if we’d be able to make their movie, "The Interview," available online. We'd had a similar thought and were eager to help—though given everything that’s happened, the security implications were very much at the front of our minds.
Of course it was tempting to hope that something else would happen to ensure this movie saw the light of day. But after discussing all the issues, Sony and Google agreed that we could not sit on the sidelines and allow a handful of people to determine the limits of free speech in another country (however silly the content might be).
So starting at 10 a.m. PST in the U.S., you can rent or buy "The Interview" on Google Play and YouTube Movies. It will also be available to Xbox Video customers and via www.seetheinterview.com.

Dish Network Chairman Charlie Ergen declined the deal for unspecified reasons, Fox reports
A plan to distribute “The Interview” over DISH Network fell apart after talks between Sony and the satellite TV provider broke down over the weekend.
According to Fox Business News, the Seth Rogen-James Franco comedy at the center of the Sony hacking could have been streamed into living rooms as early as Christmas Day.
However, Dish Network Chairman Charlie Ergen declined the deal for unspecified reasons.
Sony declined to comment.

http://variety.com/2014/film/news/sony-lawyer-says-the-interview-will-be-distributed-1201384905/Boies appeared on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday and claimed that Sony’s controversial comedy “The Interview” “will be distributed.” How it will be distributed, however, he admitted is unclear right now.
“Sony only delayed this,” Boies told “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd. “Sony has been fighting to get this picture distributed. It will be distributed. How it’s going to be distributed, I don’t think anybody knows quite yet. But it’s going to be distributed.”

SEOUL, Dec. 21 (Yonhap) -- North Korea threatened to carry out ultra-harsh military action on U.S. soil Sunday, one day after U.S. President Barack Obama vowed a proportional response against the North's alleged hacking attack into Sony Pictures.
In a follow-up to the FBI's recent hacking accusation against Pyongyang, Obama vowed Friday (U.S time) to "respond proportionally," hinting at retaliatory action over the communist country's alleged hacking attack on the distributor of a controversial movie about North Korea, "The Interview."
North Korea had been suspected of involvement in last month's cyberattack on Sony after the country's repeated warnings against the firm's plan to release the movie, dealing with an assassination plot targeting North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
