  1. In both Mexico and Korea, Noah was released in 2D. It will follow suit in nine other territories: the UK, Australia, New Zealand, France, Spain, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan and the Philippines. It goes out in 3D in 55 markets.

Filipinos love superheroes, so I'm sure Cap will easily out gross Noah here.

Of course, we're also a Catholic-majority nation, so Noah will perform good on its own terms.

  2. Yeah. "no reaction" for me typically means there was talking/murmurs during the trailer unrelated to the trailer. Whereas "murmurs" would mean like leaning over and talking about what the movie is or whispering once the trailer is done about the trailer

    Oh okay, thanks!

So I guess that Godzilla trailer demanded attention, am I right?

  3. About $5M for Cap2 would be reasonable?

That would be a good benchmark. But if this experiences a Thor 2 sequel jump, it would finish with almost $7M. Also, it has a good release date (April is summer here), and it'll be getting IMAX screens as well. Competition doesn't look to be large also.PLUS:Philippines Box OfficeMarch 5–9, 2014TW LW Movie Studio Weekend Gross Change Screens Change / Avg. 4. EDIT: Oh geez. I accidentally edited out my 300 crowd report with my Cap 2 report. Dammit. <_<

Captain America: The Winter SoldierSM Cebu Imax, Mar. 30, 11 am showing., >15% full.Trailers:Interstellar (no reaction)Amazing Spider-Man 2 (people went "Oh!" and were definitely into the trailer)

Godzilla (silence throughout, people talked about it after title was shown)Film/Experience:This was my second time viewing, and it was still just as awesome as the first time.

Excellent fight choreography, Falcon is cool as as heck, and solid plotting.

Crowd laughed at appropriate times and were genuinely surprised when Winter Soldier was revealed to be Bucky! Most stayed for the mid-credits scene and were definitely talking about the twins' appearance after it was done.
