brazil Brazil Box Office Thread
Hernan Gonzalez replied to Fullbuster's topic in International Box Office
I've just read O Globo looking for an answer but I couldn't find the reason for your happiness. I was nice to read a newspaper where is not all about Greece for a change though -
that number is too low, average ticket is around $3.5 so it should have done almost $0.6m as of Monday

Monday is included here

Inside Out increases and wins again!!! 2m+ admissions and $7.5m+ looks doable!!! Even with The Minions coming soon!! Very good OW for Terminator!! Jurassic World looks weaker than in other Latin American markets but it is still doing good numbers. And DBZ2 had also a nice OW!!

Another fantastic weekend!! Best Saturday of the year so far!! Inside Out is doing really good (around 10% bigger than Frozen at the same time of its run). It passed 1m admissions in just 11 days. It had the second best second weekend for the year behind FF7. Top second weekends 2015: 1 Fast & Furious 7 649304 2nd Weekend 2 Inside Out 432639 2nd Weekend 3 The Avengers 2: Age of Ultron 376754 2nd Weekend 4 Jurassic World 321855 2nd Weekend 5 San Andreas 241449 2nd Weekend 6 Fifty Shades of Grey 208200 2nd Weekend Jurassic World also had a nice drop, only 22%. Better than AoU by more than 10%!! Top third weekends 2015: 1 Fast & Furious 7 390267 3rd Weekend 2 Jurassic World 255713 3rd Weekend 3 The Avengers 2: Age of Ultron 225525 3rd Weekend Dragon Ball Z 2 won Thursday but it deflated pretty soon and ended the weekend on third place. Back in 2013 Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods sold 503k admissions by the end of its run. Would this sequel be able to reach that? It should!

With the actual inflation rate is going to be very easy for new movies to beat the older ones in local money http://www.tradingeconomics.com/russia/inflation-cpi I still think admissions is the best way to compare movies
-
Maybe even less than that. JW should win and last weekend it did $3.2m so I don't think we will have a movie over $2m this weekend. Again Europe is not falling for The Rock

An earthquake was not the cause of the extinction of the dinosaurs. At least not here in Spain... Jurassic World resisted on Top the arrival of San Andreas and Spy Friday Top 5: 1- Jurassic World 2- San Andreas 3- Ahora o Nunca (local film) 4- Spy 5- Tinkerbell and the beast
