  1. Of course them being friends could be possible in real life. But if you see the movie it doesn't really work here. Hader seems like he doesn't even really like him. But just hangs out with him because he's Lebron. While Lebron is just a mindless goof in this movie. There's no connection between the two that would make it seem like a realistic friend ship. Going into the movie I thought it could work, but I don't think it did after seeing it.
  2. Yeah that makes sense why they would know each other. But never explains why someone like Lebron would want to be such good friends with Hader character. They just make Lebron a goof and expect the audience to buy it. Heck Hader character doesn't even seem like he likes Lebron half the time. Maybe it just seems stupid to me, because I've heard so many stories about how Lebron really is and how he has this big entourage. So real life Lebron would never been friends with nerdy Hader.
  3. I agree, it wasn't really that funny and probably 15 minutes too long. While the plot has been done a 100 times before and stuff like Lebron being buds with Bill Hadler character just makes no sense.
  4. It doesn't surprise me that Ant-Man isn't doing huge numbers. The concept is just silly and honestly it doesn't look that great. I have no interest in seeing it at the theater. Which is why I saw Trainwreck tonight instead(which I was slightly disappointed by). That's a big difference between Guardians and Ant-man, because Guardians, was a must see for me on opening night.
  5. Yuck on those Terminator numbers. That's like 500,000 less than I was hoping for. Well last Friday the early estimates were 3.5 million and it bumped up to 4 million in the morning. So I'm hoping for another 300,000- 500,000 bump here. I have a feeling they will be bumped up to at least 1.7 million in the morning.
  6. Number that I expected for Terminator Genisys. It's now at 75.2 million going into the weekend. Let's see if it can do 6.8 to 7 million to be at over 82 million come Sunday afternoon.
  7. But eating crow is sooo R rated. Which is why you love it so much.
  8. You really need to get a life lol. I was basing it off screens for the weekend from 10 nearby theaters. It was a guess based off that. Relax already, don't take everything so serious lol. Either way I'm happy with Terminator Genisys having 2,814 screens still. I was expecting it to be losing more.
  9. Yes good news Terminator Genisys is on a ton of screens still. I was expecting a bigger drop for both and I forgot Jurassic World lost like 300 screens already last week. I thought both had around 3,700 still.
  10. The only thing I meant to edit was. That Terminator wasn't going to lose 1,000(I meant 1,200 screens)screens and Jurassic World a few hundred and that they would be in a similar amount of screens. Yes I did think they would both take a bigger hit than they did and I'm glad they didn't. I thought Terminator and Jurassic World might be seperated by 100-200, so I was a little off by it being 300. The whole point is that both Terminator and Jurassic World are on a ton of screens still. So the loss isn't going to impact them too much.
  11. He replied while I was in the process of editing. I wrote in the wrong number at first.
  12. I meant like Jurassic World at over 3,000 and Terminator at 2,500. Terminator only on like 300 less screens. So it makes sense from what I've seen. Considering Jurassic World has already lost a lot of screens.
  13. Good I thought both would lose more screens.
  14. I guess we will see. But there's no way Terminator is losing over 1,200 and Jurassic World only 300-400 from what I've seen.
  15. Based off a dozen nearby theaters. It seems like Jurassic World has as much or less show times than Terminator Genisys. It looks like both got cut to around 2,500 screens.
  16. Yeah all the IMAX are gone. It's still playing in 3D at some theaters though. I can see both Terminator and Jurassic World done to 2,500 screens this weekend.
  17. I think that is the most likely scenario. Unless it really starts to struggle over the next 10-11 days.
  18. I expect Terminator Genisys to only do around 1.2 million on Thursday. But I think it will jump up to around 2.-2.2 million Friday, 2.8 million Saturday and 2 million Sunday. Like it or not, but Terminator Genisys isn't totally bombing out so there not going to pull that many screens so fast(800-1,200 I'm guessing). Yes it will lose a large number, but it's still going to be showing at most theaters every 2-3 hours at least. Going off my local theaters show-times this weekend, it seems like Jurassic World is taking a similar or slightly bigger hit in screen loses then Terminator Genisys this weekend. Overall I'm sure Genisys number will be higher(especially since it was already in 300 more screens then Jurassic World). But impact on both movies should be similar. Even though I think Ant-Man is more Jurassic World audience than the one that's been seeing Terminator. While the majority of the rest of Ant-Man screens will likely come from something like Max which was still playing on 2,000 screens this week.
  19. Ehh weren't you the one saying 50 plus drop last weekend too? And couldn't increase from a 2.4 million Thursday to 4 million on Friday? Terminator Genisys will still likely be in over 2,500 screens that's plenty and is much more competition for Jurassic World than Terminator Genisys. If you haven't noticed already Terminator Genisys isn't getting much of a teen or early 20 something crowds, that will go see something like Ant-Man. I'm not so sure Ant-Man is going to sell very well with the 25 and up male crowd. I think Pixels might be more competition with that crowd do to all the 80s video game characters in it.
  20. Even if Terminator Genisys has a 50 percent drop it will still be around a 6.8 million weekend and that will put the movie at over 82 million after it's third weekend. Being at 96 million after it's 6th or 7th weekend is possible still. So is Paramount keeping it in theaters for 15-16 weekend to cross 100 million. That said I think Terminator Genisys will have a slightly below 50 percent drop this weekend and do 7 million. Like I said a few days ago, I don't see Ant-Man as something that cause Terminator Genisys to fall off the map. Since if Terminator Genisys had that Marvel teen audience in the first place. It would have already grossed over 100 million. The movie clearly never got that audience, so I don't see how it could be losing that audience for Ant-Man now.
  21. Yeah I just saw Edge of Tomorrow was at 96.6 million after it's 7th weekend last summer. Then it was kept on 100-400 screens for another 7-8 weeks to make it to 100 million as well.
  22. Solid 1.55 million on a Wednesday for Terminator Genisys. It's now at 74 million and it should be at 82 million plus by Sunday. With it having a chance to cross 90 million by the end of it's 4th weekend. If it's at around 96-97 million after it's 6th weekend. I wonder how long Paramount will try to keep it in theaters to push it to 100 million. I saw with Terminator Salvation it was basically done at 122 million after it's 6th weekend at the very end of June. But Warner kept it on 150-300 screens until September and it ended up making another 3 million so it could make it to 125 million. They kind of did the same thing with T3 as well I noticed. It was at 147 million after it's 7th weekend and kept it on like 180-300 screens for another 7 weeks to push it to 150 million.
  23. It's going to take a chunk of them along with Magic Mike XXL.
