  1. Yeah we saw decent size increases last night after getting numbers early. Might happen later tonight as well.
  2. This, my local theater changes 5 dollars all day for movies on Tuesdays. They also give away free popcorn all day. So the theater is always nuts on Tuesdays there.
  3. I say 68-70 million. It's at basically 50 million now and should make between 5.5 and 6.5 million Wednesday and Thursday. Then between 13-15 million this weekend .
  4. 1.Minions-120 million 2.Jurassic World-18 million 3.Inside Out-16 million 4.Terminator Genisys-13.3 million 5.Gallows-10 million 6.Magic Mike XXL-7 million 7.Self/Less-6.5 million 8.Ted 2-5.8 million
  5. 4 million for TG sounds better. 3.6 million seemed a little low after it did 3.4 million yesterday.
  6. It's held pretty strong hold at 7.1 on IMDB too. It started out at 7.2 on the day it opened last Tuesday and only dropped slightly after 20,000 additional votes. While it's RT audience score dropped from a 72 to 68 over the last week. From everything I've seen majority of moviegoers are enjoying this movie. Sure not everyone loves it, but it seems like it get's a lot of consistent 6/10 or 7/10 type of scores. It's not terrible, like some want it to be. My guess it will finish around 6.5-6.7 on IMDB and probably 55 to 60 percent on RT audience score. Which is typical summer action movie type of numbers as seen with San Andreas.
  7. It's ok, of course not the hold I was hoping for. But as long as it increases tomorrow, and doesn't decrease too much Wednesday and Thursday. Then the number is ok I guess. Terminator Genisys needs to be at 68-70 plus million come next Sunday night for it to be a decent week. While if it's not near those numbers, then it would be a pretty terrible week.
  8. With these numbers TG is at 45.8 million after 6 days and TomorrowLand is at 47.5 million after 6 days. That said TG has a decent chance at tying it tomorrow and passing it's pace by the end of the weekend.
  9. We don't know what Skynet has become. This movie leaves some questions open to be answered. I don't see why it couldn't have evolved to being as advanced as Alien type technology. What makes alien technology so special is it's so many years of anything man could create. But why couldn't something like Skynet grow into something like that over the years? Especially considering everything they've created already. Star Trek is very simple with time travel since there going back through worm holes. You don't have super machine around trying to rig there fate like Skynet. What I believe the new writers are doing here and trying to grow the franchise. Cameron had a very simple set of rules and he based his two movies off that. The problem is even Cameron had issues developing new stories off the rules he created. So there trying to add to the story. Through evolution of the machines over time.
  10. I'd say 3.5 million or higher would be solid/good for Terminator. Personally I'm hoping for higher to make up for its crappy opening. But as some have said. I'm probably setting myself up for disappoint.
  11. Maybe I am, maybe it's a little high. I just think there's still a decent size Terminator fan-base who didn't see it yet. So I think it will hold well for at least this week and early next week. At least until Ant-Man comes out. Terminator Genisys seems to be one of those movies that people want to see. But isn't a must see, so it's numbers could be spread out with good legs. That's at least what I'm hoping for. Because tracking and online data had there more interest in this movie then it's shown so far. That said Terminator Genisys did have a big drop on movietickets.com today. So that could mean a poor Monday total. I guess we will find out in a few hours.
  12. Despite low opening, it's showed consists numbers from day to day. Plus WOM is a lot better than you think for this movie.
  13. I overpredicted it's opening and I was wrong(so were tons of other people). But I was also right about grosses going up during the weekend. The movie is showing good holds so far despite the numbers not being high. So I think the movie will carry that into the week. Considering the movie hasn't had more then a 26.9 drop so far and bounced back the following day.
  14. Yeah that sounds like wishful thinking from someone rooting against it. TG has shown no signs of potentially having big drops. I'm hoping for 4.5 million today, 5 million Tuesday, 4 Million Wednesday and 3.8 million Thursday. With it doing around 14 million weekend as well. That would put the movie at around 74 million after it's second weekend.
  15. LOL when did Back to the Future make all the rules of time travel. Considering the John we see in 2017 is a machine and not human. Who's more a computer copy version of a man that once existed in a previous timeline. We don't know the rules of alternative time travel. When it comes to a machine and the data they created in previous timelines.
  16. I take that as Skynet becoming even more self aware. I don't think he can just time jump anywhere without doing harm to himself. He really only jumped to 2029 original timeline. After the course of events have repeated themselves over and over again. If he was able to just jump anywhere. He would have went to the past and created Judgment Day on his own. Instead he changed John Connor into a machine and sent him back in time to create him in this timeline.
  17. True, and that's also why they had to wait until 1984 to time travel.
  18. What Skynet has isn't really John Connor. It's a machine that was made from John Connor from a previous timeline. It's not like he's human anymore or a heart or brain or human origins. It's a computer that copied this thoughts memories, feelings and the way he thinks and acts. John not alive and doesn't exist in this timeline. He's just a machine created from John of in a alternative timeline. That's why when he get's shot. He says wow that hurts. Then goes on to say is that pain I feel? Or just a memory from when I was less... So Kyle and Sarah and both die and there John Connor T-3000 Terminator can still exist.
  19. That's exactly it. Why else would there be another T-1000? Both Guardian T-800 and T-1000 were using these moments to strike. That is also how they knew to set a trap for the T-1000 to kill it. They knew he would be go after Reese and they planned on him following them to that spot.
  20. Who sent a T-1000 back to kill young Sarah Conner at the lake? Skynet, Sarah was still set to have John. While John was still going to end the war on the machines. Before they could turn him into a Terminator. Thanks to John memories they know have a way to find Sarah pre 1984. Who sent Arnie back to save her? That's the mind unanswered question in the movie and the main characters don't know yet either. They went over the topic to basically tell the audience this will be explained in a later movie. How was Arnie able to kill a T-1000 when he saved young Sarah at the lake? No he was just able to stop/delay T-1000 enough. So him and Sarah could get away. He probably used that rocket and his pieces spread in the water. Why could Arnie build a functioning time machine pre-1984 but John Conner of 2017 hasn't yet? Arnold has it in his files how to build one. John could build one too. But that wasn't his purpose. John was sent by Skynet in 2014 to help create Skynet little by little. That's why he was working with the Dysons and helping them develop stuff. So basically when one of those guys got suck on something he would help them out. Remember he's a infiltration unit and his goal was to gain everyone's trust. So everyone would welcome Genisys with welcome arms and Skynet could take over the world. If John just showed up out of the blue and created everything for them. It would have looked way to fishy and he wouldn't have gotten the same amount of trust. How does John Conner even exist if Sarah and Kyle have yet to do the deed? Well let's not forget John is basically dead and no longer human. He doesn't have a heart or human brain or anything anymore. The Nao-bots virus consumed his body and copied his memories, feelings and his thoughts. They did that to a John Connor from a timeline who did exist. Which is why his memories are all from the original timeline. Then had this machine travel to this new alternative timeline to ensure that Judgment Day still happens. There is no actual John Connor in this alternative timeline. Just a machine copied version of a alternative timeline John Connor.
  21. Studio estimates were way higher for Sunday then these numbers. Not good for the day.
  22. It's number 1 in the world, because it made more money then any other movie did this weekend worldwide. It doesn't have to be actually number 1 in every market to do that. Not that it matters, I'm just kidding around about it. Even though it is true lol.
