If this were a sitcom, I would tell you to hire an out of work actor to go to work playing the role of you, while you go to the movies. But then hijinks would ensue, and somehow the actor would go to the movie and you would end up at work. Still might be worth a shot.

Nahh if this were a sitcom...I would fake a sickness to watch this with my gorgeous finance who is dressing as Leia in Empure Strikes Back as we speak...

However, I would then run into my boss and/or coworker at the movie theater which makes me hide myself...hijinks would ensue...

Hmm on second thought... maybe I should try?

Personally, I think Bond probably is worth less than Lucasfilm, Marvel or Pixar but still around  the $1bn mark.

I think Sony can offer close to $2B for outright rights and be fine...that much is fairly easy loan based on cash flow of Sony empire...

Again it depends on how much Sony Japan trusts Sony entertainment aka america...

Personally as a shareholder, I so wish they would split Sony films off...

MGM and EON would never sell Bond, I imagine if Barbara and Michael wanted to sell EON, we'd be looking at a $4-5bn pricetag similar to what Disney paid for Marvel and Lucasfilm.

I think Bond would be fine under WB although I wonder if we'll see Bond in the summer, it's been 25 years since Bond has a summer slot and with WB scheduling Fantastic Beasts and JL in November for the next 5 years, I wonder if they would consider it.

No way is Bond worth whole of Lucasfilm...

did you know that Brosnan's last appearance as Bond in any media was actually the video game Everything or Nothing where he did the voice and some motion capture. A lot of people say that games storyline would have been a great movie.

That was a great game and the plot was fantastic...really felt a true Bond flick...

With the Bond rights up for grab, and WB putting on a big effort to get those rights we may see a Christopher Nolan directed Bond movie next. Nolan has always said he wants to direct a Bond movie, and WB getting the rights is the best chance of that happening.

Opening scene of TDKR is Nolan's audition for a Bond movie
