  1. Comparing this to Slave is a joke in any regard, IMO, as just because of Jack, it had a big following based on his roles in the 5 years before, including Chinatown the year before that only made 125 Million....as well as many awards.....which is very similar to Cuckoos Nest.
  2. Your own write up shows why it deserves to be higher.... And as I am about to write on Chinatown......talk about a small messed up movie that beat the odds, especially since it couldn't be seen or paid fog by the teens cause of the R rating.
  3. Decent RT scores but probably hard core fans based on the low Friday box office. Any a 45 from critics and 77 from fans, so far.
  4. Adding Robin Williams in my top 50....as just saw an early role in nine months, plus of course, at least 10 other great roles that I could name.
  5. I think Rocky should have a much better ranking. Besides one of the most loved film scores, or at least the opening. How many small or independent people went into movies and succeeded because of Stallone and his work on Rocky.
  6. I agree that the TV series would be better overall but a movie sounded more reasonable. So if neither is possible than I will go for the tv series, as season 1 of firefly was incredible.
  7. Just finished 4 seasons of White Collar on Netflix. Now I have to find 5 & 6!!!! Just like George made Seinfeld special, I love Mozzie on White Collar.
  8. Just finished 4th season on Netflix. Very Good Overall, except for a couple of episodes that were boring. Just like George made Seinfeld special....I love Mozzie on White Collar. Just a great character!
  9. it is a floating line, of what in the movie was or wasn't disappointing. Very Subjective!
  10. But getting the main stars to sign on for a year....and one is the star of the TV, Castle...but they could set it up on their TV break, when tv actors do movies.
  11. But a movie would be easier to get done, and also easier to get Joss involved, as well as all the actors.Anyway, big budget movie over tv show any time, IMO.
  12. As Firefly was such a loved tv show, even though it only had 14 episodes and people still talk about restarting it.Why not just go with the movie serenity 2, wouldn't that be easier and better.Ps. Just watched some if the tv shows and the serenity movie.Damn great stuff!
  13. Maybe he isn't Han Solo, but in 1 movie Star-Lord made a very good name for himself. Especially since he handled everything that was needed, and did it in a very cool cool way.
  14. So I guess in the next Guardians movie they will deal with Thanos, who looks badass, and also who Star-Lords father is?
  15. I started the poll, Lazer Deadshot.....and so far the poll has Han Solo been cooler by a lot by 19 out of 45 users who came into the thread. You would think the voting would be a lot higher if all you Han Solo fans were so right.
  16. Well, let's see how many sequels that the Guardians make?
  17. A stupid poll wouldn't have a voting of 17-10-2 with 11 not sure votes! So 17 out of 40 agree outright with you. LOL!
  18. That's fine if he wants to keep it that way, but I never feel it is bad to make a polite suggestion that can be disregarded without insult. IMO, at least. Especially since I am curious where the Exorcist would end up on his list. But whatever he decides,1975 or earlier is fine.
  19. IMO, I am wondering if you are saying that 1975 year, as you will say that Jaws in 1975 started the trend, but hate to tell everyone The Exorcist was as big and 2 years earlier...and both had the same scary the shit out of the audience! With crowds lined up around the block, aka a blockbuster. PS. I wish you would change it to 1970, to get in some worthy films like The Exorcist, The Sting and The Godfather, even if you have to change it to the 105 best blockbusters. IMO. On Jaws, is 260 an actual number, as 260 is so rounded off? WHY? Domestic: $260,000,000 55.2% + Foreign: $210,653,000 44.8% = Worldwide: $470,653,000 The Exorcist, 1973 Domestic: $232,906,145 52.8%+ Foreign: $208,400,000 47.2% = Worldwide: $441,306,145 Also FYI, ET, 1982, is another that should be a Top 10 member Domestic: $232,906,145 52.8%+ Foreign: $208,400,000 47.2% = Worldwide: $441,306,145
  20. Well #1 in 1996, and having an incredible box of 300+ USA and 800+ Worldwide, on a production budget of 75 Million. Also remember this title is Most important blockbusters! And I think that Independence Day lead the way for alot of other films. Anyway, I am not sure if it should be #1, but I think Top 5 At Least.
  21. Did you even watch the movie, as he was fearless in the movie, with great fighting skills. And again, remember Han Solo, ran away, even though everyone begged him to stay, until he showed up at the end of the fight!
  22. Don't forget about Independence Day, with that great trailer, as a possible #1
