The movie is dreadful (though not as horrific as Meyer's Cat In The Hat) . The TV animated 30 minutes is a masterpiece.

No reason to just go up 28% minus previews just like no reason not to have Friday jump of 75%. It's behaving like a 2nd w/e with so much early demand used up from Monday to Thur.

That's not sexual chemistry though that's just Emily being sexy all on her own.

He's very generous with them - younger good looking actors not so much. One and done if they even make out of the pre-credits (still mourning the loss of Josh Halloway).

Rebecca I might agree with - at least in her first film. He had chemistry with Emily but it didn't seem very sexual - more buddy buddy.

There's no huge nostalgia for The Flash - and any one wanting him got their fix weekly for 7 or so years on TV. Indy's big nostalgia pull was for Crystal Skull. Top Gun Maverick was about nostalgia + rah rah America + fighter jets. I didn't have any nostalgia for it, thought the first was cheesy - which is why probably I did not love it like many. His MI movies are infinitely superior.

Wow. Trying to think about the last time Tom had sexual chemistry on screen - might be way back to Risky Business - and Rebecca de Mornay supplied the heat.

Me! Kings Row is a great film. Robert Cummings is the lead. Also he gets his legs amputated when there was nothing wrong with them... I can't believe I am the only one who voted for Dead Calm. Still kicking myself for forgetting the superlative Wonder Boys. And sorry I forgot about Crossing Delancey which is so damn charming and proves once again Speilberg was a fool. Amy Irving rules.

$140m? It'll be at $125m after an $8.7m or so w/e going into next w/e at a $130m minimum. It would need to collapse to miss $150m. I'd say more likely above $160m than under.

Just like I thought it would 70%+ from Thur to Friday I think the internal will be at least 3.5 maybe 3.6. So $50m+ then add in that wayward $2m+ in early previews. Probably hits around $54m which is line with the last two MI openers (one with previews and one without) It'll take a hit next w/e but after that what's left to keep it from running for the rest of the summer?
