  1. Even then, we're still probably going to reach 15M+, which is absurdly good for a movie of this type. At the very least, it'll match Death on the Nile at like half the cost. Channing's still got it! Woof at that Nile drop. Even the holiday won't save this.

  3. The former. They're likely to roll in the IMAX screenings/AMC Investor stuff, so might as well add up everything together.

  6. Cyrano's frustrating me because my mom really wants to see it, but she has no clue when it's actually coming out because of how awful and weird the release strategy is. She thought she missed it, because of the trailers at the movies saying "This December", but I have to keep telling her that it will come out eventually. I thought it was January, but instead it's coming late February with zero fanfare, getting overshadowed by all the awards contenders. I don't know if it's money troubles or issues with the Amazon merger or what, but there's definitely something funky going on over there (though granted those are sadly common woes for all the mid-tier studios)

I don't know if that constitutes a breakout per se, but far from the end of the world.

  9. I mean that didn't really do anything unique in terms of storytelling either. It's only better than its contemporaries because the musical numbers are snazzy and Taron Egerton's hot.
  10. I'm DYING over Hanks' accent He sounds like a Bond villain. Everything else looks alright, if standard I suppose. I'm sure my mom will be all over this.
  11. 3.303x of Eternals T-15 (31.38M) Huh. Maybe I should do regular comps with this

  15. I never actually saw Bodyguard, but I put it on my list because I really, really miss Whitney.
  16. I'm only rooting for Shadow in #3, because that's the only character I could conceivably see Timothee play, and...well you guys know me well enough to connect the dots. (yes i know he would never say yes to this)

  18. I'm just excited for all the Burbs/Stepford Wives/Truman Show-style satires that are sure to come with these Disney neighborhoods.
  19. TCB was Elvis' band when he returned to concerts in 1969. It's also short for "Taking Care of Business", a mantra Elvis put a lot of pride into.
