  1. Scream Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-10 and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 27 379 6254 6.06% Total Seats Sold Today: 45 Comp 0.661x of A Quiet Place Part II Thu+Fri T-10 (12.81M) 1.730x of The Conjuring 3 T-10 (16.97M) 0.846x of Halloween Kills T-10 (4.1M) Hmmm...yeah, I think today was good. All these comps are obviously pretty high, even the Halloween one, but the acceleration is still there and I think 20M+ is a strong possibility.

Maybe?
  3. I still don't want to say anything definitive, but probably 25-30M for the 4-Day? We're just starting to get to the acceleration period, so I'm not super confident, but I still don't see anything that signifies a mid-teens opening like everybody else is predicting.
  4. That seems counter-intuitive. Wouldn't you want this film closer to NWH so it's easier to ride off the coattails of Spider-Mania?
  5. This explains better what I'm getting at. I'm not denying she's a big deal and a huge favorite towards the MCU fandom. But like from a casual/GA perspective? I mean maybe, but I don't think she's this ultra-super-popular character to people who just enjoy the individual pieces or whatever. I don't think kids dressed up like her for Halloween (not saying there weren't, don't worry). She seems more like a nice bonus and a cool baddie for the casuals than a main reason to check the film out. I doubt they would refuse to see Strange do some cool cosmic mumbo jumbo if Wanda wasn't in it. If anything, the evil Doctor Strange is a cooler hook for the casuals. (though I will fully admit, Strange is my fave of the MCU right now, assuming Thor's done after Love and Thunder. So I am probably biased here, but it's not like this doesn't go the other way around)
  6. I'll admit I went on a Saturday matinee showing, but I don't remember anybody losing their mind or cheering at the screen when Wanda popped up at the trailer. I'm not saying she's unpopular or anything, but you lot are acting as if she's bigger than Iron Man and that if she's not in every frame the movie will suffer and be doomed forever. Like chill.
  7. Literally had this exact experience when I saw Red Rocket on Sunday lmao. I hope the folks there knew about all the gross sex stuff that was on display in the movie going in.
  8. @cannastop Not to be that guy, but as the resident furry expert, Nick and Judy never actually end up together romantically. It's sadly still a fanon thing, even if it's very obvious they should be together.

  10. I'm honestly half-expecting the Best Picture lineup next year to consist of Avatar 2, Top Gun 2, Black Panther 2, Thor 4, Lightyear, etc. ABC/Disney will be begging AMPAS to just follow what the People's Choice Awards will nominate once this year's ratings hit another record low.
  11. Not sure I can say I preferred this to Tangerine or Florida Project, mainly because the humanist/meditative edge on the leads and their situations is what made me love those other Baker films. It's not really in this one, but of course this is a different beast with a different message behind it, and I commend Baker going in a new direction with his material rather than staying stagnant. As is, it's a funny film that goes into some hard, unexpected directions. Simon Rex is a blast here.
  12. Moderation I talked things over with @grim22 and found the perfect compromise. Below is a thread found in the DC Media club (remember Clubs, kids?), where you guys are free to talk about the potential leaks for this new Flash movie. I know this isn't ideal, but it's better than nothing and is far enough away from the main forum where anybody who really doesn't want to be spoiled need not worry. The rules with regards to respect, arguments, and discourse apply there as they do here, so don't think we won't keep an eye on y'all. Sorry to @cax16, @AJG, @TMP @Product Driven Legion for the confusion and hindrance to discuss items you are all interested in, but I hope this is a good compromise nonetheless.
  13. I talked this over with @grim22, so here's the compromise. If you want to discuss recent leaks from The Flash and the implications these might have, you can only talk about them here in this specific thread in the DC Media club. Since this is far away from the main forum, it circumvents the spoiler issue, since most people who would really like to talk about this stuff are hardcore DC fans anyways. If you do not want to be spoiled from this movie, even by leaks that might not even happen, STAY AWAY RIGHT NOW And of course, if you disagree with what somebody is saying, please be courteous, respectful, and understanding to your fellow BOT members. Debate calmly, don't hurl insults, don't do anything passive-aggressive or hurtful, etc. You guys know how to treat your fellow members with respect...so do it. Have fun!
  14. No joke, every time I see the "Yellowstone" title, my mind thinks it's some gritty Yogi Bear reboot or something (yes I know it doesn't take place in Yellowstone, hush)

  16. I just thought that tweet was funny and it connected to your "Why is Boba sanitized" remark. Meant no ill will at all here.
