Tomb Raider 55 1560 2.82% Ready Player One 63 1866 3.38% Both are doing pretty whatever at the moment. Also my theater isn't getting Love, Simon. Considering it's a 10-minute drive away from a university with a huge LGBT community, either the managers have no idea what they're doing, or the movie's tracking is just that terrible. Probably the latter.

Not really. David does reach his end goal, but the idea of it ending with him stuck wishing towards the Blue Fairy is just depressing, and would leave me on a sour and unhappy note. The actual ending has bits of a depressive angle, but it still ends on an emotional high note with just the right amount of warm fuzzies and heart tied in with a dash of cynicism, considering David finally achieves his main arc and goal, and acceptance of both himself and his mother, leading to something that's more meaningful and heartfelt. Sorry dude, you're wrong.

Raiders has a pretty good ending.

Eh, I'm a sucker for bittersweet conclusions. Put one in any movie and it'll make me satisfied. And this one also has a lot of emotional pathos and warm fuzzies, another thing I'm a sucker for.
