They were put up at my Target earlier this week. Just an endcap with not a ton of stuff. Also a lot less than what Little Mermaid had earlier this year, but also this isn't an established property, so I get it. One thing I was hoping for was a plushie/pillow of the star dude, but I'm sure that will come later. Who knows?

Could be a case of people trying to do fall/Halloween-themed activities. It’s probably the best weekend to get your shopping done, take the family on hay rides or to the local haunted house show. It’s not a huge factor per se, but that stuff likely puts movies on the back burner, especially since there isn’t some epic must-see thing out there that you have to slot into your day.

Very peeved not one of you brought this to my attention.

Intermissions for big movies is something I kind of get, though I don’t think you need to have it. But what is the point of an intermission for 90 minute movies? People can sit still for that long quite easily.
