  1. I mean "DS2 = BvS. No excuses" felt like bait and was destined to lead to endless pages of Marvel vs. DC infighting. And that's stuff we really don't need here. Plus, only two posts were hidden. That's it. There wasn't any mass deletion or banning people simply for doing comparisons, and I'm not sure why you are implying this. I understand you're upset your post got hidden, but we aren't discouraging people from saying Doctor Strange's drop as bad or even comparing it to other movies. Just don't do anything that could be considered bait towards Marvel fans (I'm sure it wasn't your intention, but intentions don't equal actions).
  2. Honestly, I wish this was just an Avatar knockoff. The "what if elements have feelings" hook feels like Pixar is really stretching the limits in terms of their formula
  3. Half of it is soccer moms doing their usual handwringing, a third of it is Marvel fans trying to prop this up as something SUPER SERIOUS AND EDGY, when it's really not anything worse than other PG-13 blockbusters (and for the record, other fandoms do this stuff too), and the remainder is just people surprised the film was a bit more intense than they were expecting and were caught off guard by it all.

  6. @Brainbug the Dinosaur Care to explain this?
  7. I was merely suggesting you should ignore posts you don't like, especially when said "overreactions" aren't breaking any rules or harming anybody in any way. I'm not trying to give you a warning or ban, and that is never my intention with any posts I make to you or anybody here. A mod/admin here would never do something like that. This is a position that requires users to have extremely good standings on the forum and have immense respect for everybody. I'm sorry if I gave any misinterpretations, but I hope you understand I would never partake in this kind of behavior.
  8. Yes. The staff and I take care of these trolls every week whenever they start trouble. We just suspended one yesterday in fact.
  9. Well I'm a mod. I can't ignore people's posts, or otherwise it will lead to troublemakers and trolls wrecking havoc. You don't have that issue however.
  10. Haven’t you figured out you can just ignore posts you don’t like seeing?
  11. You didn’t get your post hidden because you said DS2 had a bad drop. You got it because you were trying to start something. You said that Marvel fans were “making excuses” and trying to spin the numbers, which I have not seen any evidence of. People here are giving their reasons why this week’s hold is poor, including Marvel stans and not trying to excuse this performance. Maybe there are one or two, but those seem very minor and it is my job to check what people are saying in these threads. Then afterwards you said “if it was a DC movie, then no one would make excuses lol”. That’s destined to ignite a petty, pointless fan war no matter what. I know from experience. I’m sure you didn’t intend to do it, but intentions don’t equal actions. Please feel free to diss on DS2, its reception, and its holds to your heart’s content

  14. Moderation @charlie Jatinder @THUNDER BIRD You guys didn't get the message I assume. We're done with this Eternals stuff. When I tell you to stop, you stop. Don't do it again.
