  1. Just felt really draggy and overlong. Kinda felt like the new Fantastic Beasts ending, where they forced like five different twists in 20 minutes. Twists are way better, but it did make me wish the movie would end faster. Maybe I’ll think differently on a rewatch I dunno
  2. I still need a couple moments to digest (that ending), but Coolio and TOG are right here. We’re the only people whose opinions matter, so trust us.
  3. Mule discussion's way more interesting than the same re-heated arguments about Aquaman and Mary Poppins tho
  4. Why are we still talking about a movie that came out 5 weeks ago, when we have a new 40M+ opener? Are you guys really that boring?
  5. Always love weekends like these. Solid opens and good holds all around (even if below expectations for some of them)
  6. Is this coming to theaters? This looks pretty cheap.
  7. We just got a new #1 movie that's about to reach close to 50M on the 4-day, and y'all still want to talk about Aquaman? Sigh.
  8. It seems Lionsgate and Paramount are aware about the dangerous POWAH of baby elephants.
  9. o·pin·ion /əˈpinyən/ noun a view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge.
  10. I would consider "Soul Crushing" to be a movie you like bombing or a movie you hate succeeding. A successful movie you like isn't really "soul crushing"
  11. https://pro.boxoffice.com/long-range-tracking-wonder-park/ Wonder Park: 8M/30M (lmao yikes) Serenity: 5.5M/15.6M (-8%) Lego 2: 59M (-2%) /200M (-6%) Happy Death Day: 20M (-17%)/52M
  12. Runtimes w/out credits and attachments for next week: Kid Who Would Be King: 1:54. Attachments unknown (probs just Spies in Disguise) Serenity: 1:40. Attachments are The Informer and After

  14. If Glass follows Escape Room: 3.7M 12M (inc. previews) Fri 10.4M Sat 6.4M Sun 28.8M If it follows Insidious 4: 3.7M 23.8M (inc. previews) Fri 20.6M Sat 10.9M Sun 55.3M If it follows Split: 3.7M 27M (inc. previews) Fri 30.5M Sat 16.4M Sun 73.9M If it follows American Sniper: 3.7M 21.2M (inc. previews) Fri 24.1M Sat 17M Sun 12.5M Mon 62.3M 3-Day 74.8M 4-Day Insidious seems like the best reference to go off of, since both are Blumhouse sequels, though there will obviously be a harsher Saturday drop and a softer Sunday drop for Glass. The thing to remember is the winter storm will put a big dent in this weekend's grosses, which none of these movies dealt with IIRC, so sub-50M for the three-day is still a strong possibility
  15. Tickets are now up at a few theaters near me. Thursday previews start at 4.
  16. Wow, I've always wanted Jacob Tremblay to be a Ghostbuster. Thanks Jason Reitman.
  17. The EW article mentions that it's still a thing, but it's happening after this movie. Probably 2021 or 2022
