  1. It's weird because it alternates and fluctuates throughout the day. I saw Won't You Be My Neighbor? today at around 2:15 (amazing movie btw go watch it), and before the show starts, the only thing at that theater that also had showtimes available were 3 Identical Strangers, Deadpool 2 (yes, it's still playing here for some reason), and The Spy Who Dumped Me. But then, when I got out of the theater at around 4, the rest of the showtimes for every other movie all appeared as if by magic...still can't see M:I or Christopher Robin tho. That's been happening consistently throughout the past couple of days.
  2. ...when did Dog Days move to Wednesday?
  3. One of my local Regals is having next Wednesday's preview. I don't have work on that day, so I might check it out.
  4. *insert not at all overdone "Disney hasn't cleared their critic checks yet" joke here*
  5. Christopher Robin 359 1977 18.16% Spy Who Dumped 44 1582 1.07% CR Comps: 492% of My Little Pony (43.7M) 101% of Coco (51.1M) 276% of Ferdinand (37M) 235% of Paddington 2 (25.8M) 106% of Peter Rabbit (26.5M) 348% of Sherlock Gnomes (37M) 472% of Show Dogs (28.4M) 14% of Incredibles 2 (25.7M) 94% of Hotel Transylvania 3 (41.6M) The Paddington and Peter Rabbit comps seem the most appropriate seeing as how all three movies are animated/live-action hybrids with cute CG animals, though I could see this reach the 30s. Spy Comps: 55% of Game Night (9.3M) 68% of Blockers (13.9M) 28% of Life of the Party (5M) 49% of Book Club (6.6M) 105% of Tag (15.6M) Yeesh. We aren't getting Darkest Minds and we thankfully aren't getting Death of a Nation.

  7. Dwayne looks like such a dork in that outfit, and I am HERE FOR THIS
  8. I'm in a bit of a pickle when it comes to AMC. At my house, I have a Regal right next to my workplace, as well as another Regal only 10 minutes away. Meanwhile, the nearest AMC near my house is 25 minutes away. Basically, a longer, more inconvenient trek. At my university, which I'm at the majority of the year, there are two AMCs that are both ~15 minutes away (one of them also has indies sprinkled into their lineups), but not only are there closer theaters that are less than 10 minutes away, but I don't have a car to get there, so I have to take Ubers every time I want to go see a movie. They both cost around $40 going there and back again, which is already a lot just to see one movie. I could go with Sinemia, but the limit to only 1-3 ain't the greatest for somebody like me, so I'm kinda stuck in a bad situation. Then again, I guess maybe I can use some of the bus or train services near my university to get to those locations.
  9. I should mention that none of the non-e-ticket theaters are giving out showtimes. Guess it's now dead dead.
  10. But...Rampage was in 91 theaters this week. https://www.boxofficemojo.com/counts/chart/?yr=2018&wk=30&p=.htm
