Smallfoot The moms had scattered laughs, but it was overall pretty quiet, outside of the girls getting a tad antsy near the end, but nothing distracting. Beautiful movie. Beautiful bear.

Admittedly, I was watching the movie late at night super tired, so maybe I'll think differently on a rewatch, but I don't really remember anything memorable or exceptional about it. Just a lot of awkward moments (the classroom scene was pretty cringey)

Denzel's other performances are great. Roman Israel's wasn't.

Didn't really get the hype tbh. Just playing with your glasses and having a bunch of peanut butter in your room does not a character make. Doesn't help the movie itself just flat-out wasn't good.

About to see Paddington 2 in a few minutes

I always thought PR was underestimated here. Slapshit can still make money, and the kids whenever I got the trailer enjoyed this movie's slapshit. And now that Jumanji and Showman are starting to slow down and Paddington will probably be out of most theaters this Friday, there's pretty much nothing new for families. Critical reception also doesn't look to be that bad.

As much as I love roasting TOG, I have to admit I'm kinda in the same boat as him with television, at least when it comes to serialized dramas. I have very little patience nor the time in my busy schedule to pay attention and focus on 45-minute episodes where I have to remember everything that happened in the previous episode. So most of the time, I either ignore them, or watch the first few episodes or seasons, then just abandon them. The only 45-minute show I watch nowadays are American Crime Story (haven't seen Gianni Versace yet, so no spoilers) and This is Us. With comedy shows and cartoons, their 22 minutes and usuallydon't rely on backstory or previous episodes, so I'll take that any day.
