  1. Back in January, WrathofHan made a prediction thread for every release this year. He thought It would only gross $50M...in total. Now, it's being grossed in one day. HOLY FUCK
  2. Home Again got $300K in previews, if anyone cares. http://deadline.com/2017/09/stephen-king-it-home-again-box-office-1202163667/
  3. Probably the worst poster. Even Branagh's handlebar game isn't as strong. At least Daisy's still gorgeous as ever tho.

  8. I'm an advocate that Ronald has done far worse shit than Pennywise. Did Pennywise inflict childhood obesity and diabetes across the world? I don't think so!
  9. There haven't been many reviews out yet, but Lady Bird, at least to me, feels like a frontrunner. The storyline sounds less esoteric and more conventional than Florida, aka more accessible to voters, and A24 successfully launched Room and Moonlight with a Telluride premiere. Though DaFoe will definitely get into the Supporting Actor. Not as confident with Ronan, but she's not out for the count.
  10. Daytime. At least in my area, the crowds are smaller during the day, meaning there's less annoying people. The only times I do nighttime shows are when I'm scheduling something with my parents or if it's a kids movie (daytime shows have more kids, and kids in general in movie theaters are the worst, so I try to go to later showings).
  11. http://deadline.com/2017/09/labor-day-weekend-box-office-hitmans-bodyguard-close-encounters-of-third-kind-tulip-fever-marvel-inhumans-1202159557/ Also, Deadline tracks It at $60-66M
  12. Seems pretty obvious it's going to be a straight-up comedy to me. I doubt a movie featuring Shaq will even try to get into any sort of drama.
  13. http://deadline.com/2017/08/robin-hood-tyler-perry-uncle-drew-nick-kroll-hellfest-lionsgate-release-film-release-dates-1202158008/ In 2018, we're having two movies about horror theme parks only 3 weeks apart.
