It's like Home Alone 2 where people only like it because they were 10 when they first saw it. It's the ground zero of all the other movies and all the same problems they share.

I mean it's only like 2 or 3 people doing this. Not really this huge cult following folks here are trying to parrot. And I'm still not sure why this is "strange", but go off I guess.

Okay, I was fine with the epic trailer music of popular songs thing for a while. I defended the practice more than most. Arguably for years after everybody else vilified it...this is my limit. Harry Belafonte didn't die for this.

I mean Afterlife is one of the worst blockbusters I've ever seen (Yes, I probably think it's worse than that movie you hate), and all the marketing materials and trailers make this look just as awful. If every single sign points to me that I'm going to have a miserable time, including words from people whose job is critiquing movies, then...yeah, I'm gonna take that word and probably expect it to be bad. Besides, this movie only exists as a corporate product designed to sell toys. I really don't think this is the movie we need to shame others for because they looked at a Rotten Tomatoes score.

Love how they gave epic, bombastic Avengers music to Harold and the Purple Crayon. Our movie culture is bizarre.

We should not outlaw Ghostbusters cartoons. The Real Ghostbusters was rad as hell (at least prior to the Dave Coulier seasons), and it’s weird the franchise stopped doing cartoons. Did Extreme Ghostbusters just do that badly in the ratings?

Moderation This "does Avatar have pop culture impact" argument is also going to be done here, because there's no point in arguing in circles, and we've done this countless of times already. Also of note, just because you don't respond to quotes doesn't mean you should continue a conversation a moderator asks to stop. When a staff member asks something to stop, you stop.
