Except it is. It is already proven that the more diverse a company is, the more profitable the company is, the wider the audience, the more creative the company is in terms of products and campaigns, better relations with clients, and so on. Removing diversity in your company like this is not only a bad look, whether you like it or not, but is limiting the company and its scope, which in turn hurts the bottom line. Their "Middle America" push is also a bad idea, because not only has WB pushed for them already, and successfully, but they're ignoring tons of other audiences that are also profitable. So yeah, all of this stuff is relevant because this has potential to hurt the bottom line. And if these articles aren't enough to convince you, please note that I work for a recruiting agency. I hear about this stuff every day and my team advise this stuff all the time to our clients. So I have a pretty good idea about what I'm talking about.

I'm uncertain about DWD at the moment, but Woman King feels like it has a good chance at a breakout and a 20M+ opening. The movie's ads are pretty effective, because they're selling it less as a historical drama (though granted it's still there, though arguably inaccurate), and more as a fun and empowering action film. Plus the Dahomey were an inspiration for the Dora Milaje and I think Black Panther has helped sell the movie here. Of course this is also reliant on TIFF reception, which isn't always great. Hope things turn out well though. -

Did Parbellum get IMAX or was it still Endgame? Either way, I think Wick's now big enough that Lionsgate can push for IMAX for the fourth movie, especially since Shazam's likely not gonna be this imposing 100M+ OW juggernaut. Either way, even six days of IMAX/PLFs is still great for any movie and way better than no IMAX/PLFs or very, very limited with Avatar scooping up all the good shows.
