  1. I mean older audiences and family audiences still aren't truly back yet. And yeah, it could change in 2022, but it still won't happen overnight, so it'll probably be a long process. Not that crazy to be down on those films. But yeah, doubting Papa Feige is a fool's errand, even if Eternals underperforms.

  3. No you can still participate. I just tagged people who were active posters, at least a while back, and since you and Nash are more recent posters, I forgot. So yeah, go ahead and PM me your list!
  4. FWIW, that's the one movie my mom keeps insisting to see in theaters (she already told me she wants to see a movie at home for Christmas instead of our usual theater outing. Goes to show what we're talking about in people just not interested in da moovies anymore). But frankly, Gucci, if it lands, will probably just be the exception that proves the rule and won't really indicate anything super positive in the long run for movies like it.
  5. Nah. At this rate, I think we've all come to terms with this. For the past few weeks, we've all been bemoaning the death of midbudget films, adult-targeted films, and non-spectacle features and the state of theater maintenance and how everything non-Marvel's been in dire straits (Mickey's Law fam)
  6. Moderation @filmnerdjamie you can argue that Dune is doing poorly without resorting to passive-aggressive insults. Please act more mature, or you will see a threadban.
  7. For the record, this doesn't mean I want people to respond or encourage SpiderByte in any way. There's no point in instigating the guy and making things worse.
  8. Moderation @SpiderByte that’s enough. Straight up, that is enough. You have made your point, and it’s not giving anything productive. If you want to troll Dune or attack others for not being super ultra nice against Eternals, know you will see threadbans. And if you don’t like this, just know you can go to another forum where the rules are way more lax.
  9. Eternals Greater Philadelphia Area Seat Report T-6 and Counting Sellouts Showings Seats Sold Total Seats Perct Sold TOTALS 0 62 2270 12199 17.89% Total Seats Sold Today: 87 Comp 0.792x of Black Widow T-6 (10.45M) 1.357x of Shang-Chi T-6 (11.94M) Yeah, next weekend's going to be miserable. Gonna love all the trolls randomly coming out of the woodwork.
  10. @VenomXXR We also have this thread below if you want to argue with other users over 2022
  11. Moderation @Ronin46 @john2000 guys I think that's enough for today. It's important to realize when to restrain yourself or just talk via PMs when a conversation goes on for too long.
  12. Well...yeah. Every MCU movie opens differently and not every single MCU movie will appeal even to MCU fans. There are folks who only watch one or two of these a year, whether it be funds or disinterest in the character or marketing. The diehards will obviously come out on OW, but not everybody who watches these movies are diehards and Eternals has a greater uphill battle compared to other MCU titles. It's not that crazy.
  13. https://deadline.com/2021/10/dwayne-johnson-jake-kasdan-reteam-amazon-studios-holiday-movie-red-one-1234864948/ So we're just not getting another Jumanji film, eh?
  14. It had two days worth of previews, since there were early access shows on Wednesday. I don't know why Uni's taking their sweet time putting it out, but that's probably for a good reason.
  15. I went as Indiana Jones yesterday for my company's Halloween party. I'll probably dress up as him again when the trick-or-treaters roll around and see if the kids get excited over it...if they know who Indy is of course.
