I wonder if TF4 can still gross more in China than in North America since it's opening in NA was bigger than in China.

I'm still not convinced that EoT will break out in Japan, but I hope it does. With 400M WW this should at least break even.

I think this is overrated. Sure, the visuals and the atmosphere were sensational and the camerawork is truly oscar-worthy (Cuaron deserved that award IMO). I just wasn't that invested in the characters and the acting was good, but not spectacular. Still a pretty good movie, just not as good as I hoped it would be.

I agree with the positive reviews on here. While some of the humor didn't work for me as good as for most other people, it was still funny. And until the end, I thought: Yeah, this is pretty entertaining, but overrated. Then the ending came around, and I was floored at how good it was. And then I said: Okay, now it's a great movie. LEGO is still one of my Top 5 favorite movies this year. Just a wonderful animation flick with a lot of heart which is also a movie for kids and adults.

I think MOS is the best comic book movie of 2013.
Seriously, the action was incredible and for me the first hour with Superman's origin story worked extremely well. Also, the Hans Zimmer score was great, too and I really liked Zod as the villain. Henry Cavill is a good Superman and most of the other actors were good as well IMO. Especially Russell Crowe was amazing. I agree on Lois Lane being thinly-written and some action scenes being a little over the top. Overall though, I think MOS is a fantastic superhero comic book movie and IMO it made Superman interesting again.

So I just saw Rth getting 14 likes on the post with his sunday numbers. I wonder if he could crack 100 likes for posting the Avengers: AOU friday gross (when it's coming out).

And great for both Cap 2 and DOFP. Wonder if EoT will still hit 100m domestic though. And nothing seems to stop Maleficent. That movie really seems to have pretty strong word-of-mouth.

I think Interstellar actually has a good shot at beating Inception. McConaughey might not be as big as Dicaprio, but I think the curiosity will ensure a good opening. And if it's as great as it looks, it could have great legs.

I know that this is off-topic, but this is my 100th post and I also now have exactly 100 likes. Time to celebrate!

That's a really big drop for TF4. It's been a rollercoaster with this. First it was like with those preview # it won't stand a chance to hit 100M opening. Then after the huge Friday 100M seemed locked and now it seems to be in trouble again.

LOL at that Star Wars vs. Pokemon battle going on for like 30 minutes now, or maybe even longer,

I like the fact that you like the fact that I liked your post that I then liked the reference to the fact that i liked your post
That's the asgardian version of Inception, I think.

#ED is going to have an epic meltdown when he sees MrPink's new avatar.

Pokémon is still popular? I didn't know. What about Barney? Is he still around annoying people?
Yes, I do think Pokemon is still pretty popular, at least in Asia.

I suppose Kal lived under a rock in late 2012 when the news of Episode VII getting made broke. Everybody was going crazy at the time.

I don't get that Star Wars vs. Pokemon debate. Can't we just agree on the fact that both were (and still are) extremely popular?

The fairies were great, weren't they? And the script was tremendous, right? Nolan could learn a thing or two reading it.
Oh, that sarcasm. I like it.

MrPink changed his avatar from Banderas to Jolie? What happened? Here's hoping he uses a Nolan avatar after Interstellar has come out.

I'm excited for this. I really enjoyed Pacific Rim and thought the robots vs. monsters fights were phenomenal. Obviously, the characters and dialogue weren't great (though Idris Elba's character had quite a lot of depth IMO) and besides Ron Perlman who was amazing the actors also didn't do a very good job. But I still think it was a pretty fun and entertaining movie.

What is Don Jon. I know it is the JGL movie but what is is about.
I don't know the details, but I think JGL plays a guy who is addicted to porn.

Don Jon is just dragging. Fuck this.
I see what you did there.

Still if you have to compare Star Wars is easily the bigger franchise.
Also, while Pokemon may be bigger than Star Wars in Japan (and maybe other asian countries) Star Wars inspired nearly every filmmaker who's working today.

I actually think Lone Ranger isn't that bad either. Sure it's not nearly as good as the first Pirates film, but I do think it's an average blockbuster.

TF4 actually had a $100m opening weekend?
Seriously though, Paramount is over-exaggerating their fudging.
