  1. #89 25.99% Director: Mary Harron Written by: Mary Harron & Guinevere Turner Although many dislike the film, American Psycho has enough fans to make its mark on the top 100. RT Consensus: "If it falls short of the deadly satire of Bret Easton Ellis's novel, American Psycho still finds its own blend of humor and horror, thanks in part to a fittingly creepy performance by Christian Bale."
  2. These first 11 seem to have gone down pretty well Which I guess makes sense, given that you guys voted for them.
  3. #90 25.87% Director: Paul Thomas Anderson Written by: Paul Thomas Anderson Joaquin Phoenix and Philip Seymour Hoffman both had plenty of films which were voted for. This is one few that made the final cut. RT Consensus:"Smart and solidly engrossing, The Master extends PTA's winning streak of challenging films for serious audiences."
  4. #91 25.84% Director: Jonathan Dayton & Valerie Faris Written by: Michael Arndt Often considered one of 2006's best films, Little Miss Sunshine comes in at #91. RT Consensus: "Little Miss Sunshine succeeds thanks to a strong ensemble cast, as well as a delightfully funny script."
  5. #92 25.69% Director: Quentin Tarantino Written by: Quentin Tarantino The first Tarantino film to be on the list - but most certainly not the last - is Kill Bill Volume 2. It earned 25.69% of #1's points. RT Consensus: "Talkier and less action-packed as Vol. 1, it nevertheless delivers the goods for those expecting a satisfying conclusion to this two-parter."
  6. #93 25.35% Director: Michael Mann Written by: Stuart Beattie Michael Mann puts his mark on the list with our first Cruise-driven film. Collateral earned 25.35% of #1's points. RT Consensus: "Driven by Mann's trademark visuals and a lean, villainous performance from Tom Cruise, Collateral is a stylish and compelling noir thriller."
  7. #94 24.86% Director: Rich Moore Written by: Phil Johnston & Jennifer Lee The first of many animated films to make it on to the list is the videogames-inspired Wreck-It Ralph. It earned 24.86% of #1's points. RT Consensus: "Equally entertaining for both kids and parents old enough to to catch the references, Wreck-It Ralph is a clever, colorful adventure built on familiar themes and joyful nostalgia."
  8. For those asking about lists, I count 26 including my own.
  9. #95 24.86% Director: Stephen Chbosky Written by: Stephen Chbosky Clearly a fan favorite among many members of the forum, it's of little surprise to see Perks scrape its way into the final 100. It earned 24.86% of #1's points. RT Consensus: "a heartfelt and sincere adaptation that's bolstered by strong lead performances."
  10. #96 24.82% Director: Steven Spielberg Written by: Jeff Nathanson Where would a Top Movies list be without a Spielberg film? Catch Me If You Can earned 24.82% of #1's points. RT Consensus: "With help from a strong performance by Leonardo DiCaprio, Spielberg crafts a film that's stylish, breezily entertaining, and surprisingly sweet."
  11. #97 24.78% Director: Guillermo del Toro Written by: Travis Beacham & Guillermo del Toro At #97, del Toro's biggest and most over-the-top movie, Pacific Rim. It earned 24.78% of #1's points. RT Consensus: "It may sport more style than substance, but Pacific Rim is a solid modern creature feature bolstered by fantastical imagery and an irresistible sense of fun."
  12. When I look at the top 100 films list itself I wish they were higher, but if you saw the full list and what they managed to beat, then they fully deserve their spots here. I don't want to spoil anything but there's one film in particular that these beat which is truly impressive, and I can't quite believe these all beat. Seriously, they are well loved if they're on the list. On a side note, Les Grossman is my favourite Tom Cruise performance. He steals the movie for me.
  13. #98 24.78% Directors: Ethan Coen, Joel Coen Written by: Ethan Coen, Joel Coen #98 on the forum's list is the quirky Coen Brothers story of a struggling musician in the 60s. It earned 24.78% of #1's points. RT Consensus: "Smart, funny, and profoundly melancholy, Inside Llewyn Davis finds the Coen brothers in fine form."
  14. #99 24.75% Director: Ben Stiller Written by: Ben Stiller, Etan Cohen & Justin Theroux #99 is the controversial, star-studded Hollywood war parody, Tropic Thunder. It earned 24.75% of #1's points. RT Consensus: "With biting satire, plenty of subversive humor, and an unforgettable turn by Robert Down, Jr., Tropic Thunder is a triumphant late-summer comedy."
  15. Marvel is a way bigger brand name than Mission Impossible will ever be. The Ted 2 prediction is probably my least confident one. I simply got the numbers for Hangover and Jump Street (R-rated comedies) and the difference their sequels made, and used that. Probably wrong but whatever
  16. #100 24.56% Director: Wes Anderson Written by: Wes Anderson & Owen Wilson In at #100 is our first Wes Anderson film, The Royal Tenenbaums. It earned 24.56% of #1's points. RT consensus: "a delightful adult comedy with many quirks and a sense of poignancy."
  17. Sorry, I was waiting for one final person to send their list. just a quick FYI - instead of listing the number of points a movie got, or how many lists it was on, I'll give the percentage of the #1 movie's value that it has. makes it more comparable to the rest of the list
  18. Huh? The numbers for Cindy and Maleficent are pretty similar. This is Cindy's 2nd weekend, Dragon 2 was Maleficent's 3rd weekend.
  19. Exclusive release? And this sounds like oscar bait. Hopefully it's good oscar bait though.

  21. I love Jim Parsons in The Big Bang Theory, but watching that show, he's one of seven main characters. Here, he is talking all the time, and it's only when you are subjected to 90 minutes of him talking that you realise just how wearing it is to listen to him. It doesn't help that his character's English is hideous. The joke wore off after 3 seconds and it's annoying, nay, painful to listen to. Rihanna is awful, and her inability to act was quite jarring at times. JLo is clearly terrible, I couldn't make out what she was saying or what accent she was trying to do, but fortunately she's only in the film for a few minutes.
