  1. I'd hate to be any horror movie being released for the rest of the year, everything is going to get overshadowed by IT. "Oh that ONLY opened with $40 million?". Unless we get another $100 million opener but how likely is that? I wonder when we'll start to see the effects of ITs box office success on the genre. I hope it leads to more movies with a bit of money behind them. Also less studios forcing the creative team into a PG-13 rating (we've had 3 R rated horror flicks cross the $100 million mark this year, studios should stop toning down their talent).
  2. IT should outgross Split by the weekend. Out gross Get Out by next Monday.
  3. It's a shame Geostorm got pushed out of October, robbing the movie of its first $100 + opener.
  4. Should have a decent drop this weekend as there is 0 computation until Kingsmen.
  5. Anyone who signs onto Star Wars should probably know they aren't going to have any creative control! Also, where the fuck are my numbers!
  6. I feel if Universal had released Get Out in January instead of Split we could have had 2 $200 million horror movies that year.
  7. You should dress up like a clown and sneak around the theatre during showings,
  8. I asked last week what where the chances of Annabelle hitting $100 million and was told 0%. I wonder if people are seeing it when finding IT sold out, someone on my friends list did that.
  9. I thought it was Woman In Black, would have to check.
  10. So IT broke the opening weekend in September gross in 1 day. Will broke the opening weekend for a horror movie in 2 days and will probably outgross most horror movies in 3 days.
  11. Yeah but it was hated, I'd say a sequel would drop big time. The same reason we never got The Devil Inside 2. I can only imagine The Gallows 2 is a DTV movie.
