Fox will save their asses. Haha. Must be super embarassing for marvel studios and MCU stans.

Will not reach anywhere close to the original, but rooting for this movie to have a respectable boxoffice take.
They need to market this as a fantasy action adventure in all markets rather than a comic book flick.

She will probably still have a significant role in the Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars.
Then those movies will bomb hard as well. I am actually convinced that the next Avengers films are going to face 70-80% drop. Repeating James Cameron type success is not everyone's forte.

and they will look like even bigger fools if they don't cancel Rey Palpatine movie right this moment or The Marvels will look like Endgame compared to that bomb. There's a lot to take away from The Marvels that will apply to Rey Palp: women won't show up, men will dominate but in much smaller numbers than ever before and most will hate it, new foreign markets never took to SW like they did to MCU so it's a bust there, old markets didn't support Solo and pretty much supported ST cause of old cast since audience heavily skewed older. It's a flop of flops in making.
They are making a what movie.....

Issue is not every Spy Universe film will become an all time hit.
This. Frankly Pathan vs Tiger sounds lame. No need of that movie. This YRF spy universe can only be stretched so long.
They should be doing Pathan 2 after War 2. After that combine all the 3 spies into one big film Civil War style. From there a direct sequel where they team up against a common huge threat. The end of spy universe.
3 Tiger films
2 War films
2 Pathan films
1 civil war type with cameos of lesser spies but known faces.
1 finale part 1&2 / Avengers type.
Total 10 films in this universe. End of the spy universe saga.

What a marvelous weekend.
Mogambo khush hua.
If I was marvel, I would push fake cap movie to July 2025 and scrap thunderbolts altogether. Fan4 should be the one releasing after Deadpool 3 to get some positivity surrounding it. At the moment, fake cap sounds like another disaster, which will hurt fan4 due to bad taste left by another MCU movie before it. It being the umpteenth attempt at reboot doesn't help. Can't believe the idiots in charge of these films, don't think when scheduling these things.
IF any one at Marvel is reading the threads, do yourself a favour by letting Fan4 be the next MCU film after Deadpool 3. If DP3 turns out to be a hit both commercially and critically, and f4 is also a solid film then the good will you generated from DP3 will help F4 a lot. It needs it. Thank me later.

Heard the film is good. It will do fine.
Sometimes even good films don't work. Not a fan of Hrithik, but VV remake was pretty good. Then again being a remake of a very popular South movie, which has been seen by all in various languages during COVID probably didn't do it favours.

I just cannot believe after everyone whining how Marvel needs to delay everything to fix things, when they do that, people use them trying to fix it as proof it's unfixable somehow
Can you stop parroting these defensive lines. They said to delay things, but at the same time be sensible. They should have never greenlit half of the projects they have planned for the future. Someone at Marvel should understand what the audience wants. Throwing random looking movies with random characters is getting annoying for everyone. It's like they thought whatever shit we dish will be lapped up by all. Now even the critics have woken up to Marvel's lazy style. I sincerely hope 2024 and beyond is a course correction.

Would be embarassing if tiger 3 struggles after Diwali day. Yrf will be sweating bullets come war 2 time.

They probably need some good news after the toxicity of the upcoming weekend
You sure the fan4 cast will provide good news? You cannot please everyone with the cast of fan4.

Have they started shooting thunderbolts? If not, they need to cancel it all together while they can.

Yeah we're well past the character being called Captain America being an issue.
Yea, but some parts of the world prefer a white captain America. It is harsh, but the truth. You will see massive dips in boxoffice in Asian countries. That leaves Europe, which is so over comic book flicks. I don't see this matching anywhere close to 2nd and 3rd captain America flicks. If it is lucky it might get to 400+ or original cap depending on the reviews.

An opening day around Brahmastra or slightly better for Tiger 3. The next 2-3 days after 12th will be huge though. Will make up for any loss of business on the 12th. Still I am not sure if it will match any of Pathan, Jawan and Gadar 2 unless it has good wom and goes in overdrive mode from Monday.
-
This and thunderbolts should never have been green lit in the first place. Stupid decisions at Marvel is the reason for their downfall.

So in the grand Hollywood tradition of distracting from bad news, does this cast get announced on Monday?
Marvel knows that could possibly enhance bad news for MCU once the cast is revealed.

Went to see this today. Not sure if either a lot of context is missing from me not knowing the games, or if that’s all there is to it (nothing, really).
2/5
FNAF is anyday better than those gruesome R rater horror movies and movies about possessed women with white skins and white eyes nonsense. So many overrated horror movies in the last decade pretending to be avant garde cinema.

The marvels flopping so badly makes me happy tbh. The first one did not deserve even 500M WW let alone 1B WW.
It is going to take a truly awesome Marvel flick to rejuvenate the brand. For now it's done.

DaCosta is gonna get it even worse because it's not just a live-action Disney movie (a lot of those have flopped), it's the first MCU movie that is a total disaster at the box office.
Pretty much. Might become persona non grata. Back to Indie films.

Black female directors getting big budget Disney movies, but flopping hard....sad stuff.
Ava Duvernay - A wrinkle in time
Nia Decosta - The marvels
Ava big budget filmmaking career ended with that film. Same going to happen with Nia. Oh well.
-
Bombs away. It will do 350-400M WW. Marvel needs to take a break. Not do any more films and tv shows until 2026. Let the public clamour for something.

Universal trying to bully Elio. They really been on Disney’s neck since Lightyear flopped, scheduling family films next to their films closely.
Elio will bomb hard.

David Leitch looks to have mad another fun action movie. Bullet Train had a stacked cast but still did meh at boxoffice. This one has a better marketing team though. Maybe 200M WW.

Holy shit at this opening....
Last few weeks have been absolutely gangbusters at the boxoffice.

People want to watch Barbie. There was a purpose to the movie. It felt important.
Marvel thought that by putting more females in a sequel to $1B ww grosser...one black, one middle eastern and one white , they have covered all bases and will do gangbusters again. They were taking audience for granted.
