  1. *kids turn 17* Let's have a nice relaxing evening and watch The Human Centipede.
  2. Swearing is really only just words and they're gonna learn them eventually, even if they don't already know them.
  3. This would be completely flawed. Kids would be allowed to see Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark, or Poltergeist before they could see something like Doctor Dolittle
  4. lmao how am I "TMNT stanning." I think you're being overreactive over some of the language in the film. That's all there is to it. Me? I didn't like the film. I was entertained by it, but I still didn't like it. I'm not a TMNT fanboy, I just get annoyed at shit like this.
  5. "Parents Strongly Cautioned – some material may be inappropriate for children under 13." Yep, some material in there may be inappropriate for kids under 13. If you're concerned this much about content, go to Common Sense Media or Kids-in-Mind. Hell, even IMDb Parents Guide would work.
  6. That'd go over the heads of kids anyway, so that's really not a big deal. Oh, and remember that scene where those police cars were blown up? I don't know why you're so mad about a couple utterances of swear words when innocent cops died. I'm not saying either are that bad, but it's really stupid to criticize a movie for swear words, then to not criticize any violence in the movie.
  7. Yeah, it's totally not like 9 year olds don't know those words and hear them at school. When I was 9, everyone at my school knew what each of those words are. And they said "shit" like once. I also didn't notice any dick joke, so I don't know what you're smoking there.
  8. It'd be great if we could have one year where every film released is a hit. It's a shame that'll never happen. I'd love to see really obscure movies become big hits.
  9. Life of Pets: 8000 Central Intelligence: 4000 BFG: 3000 Lights Out: 2000 The Conjuring 2: 3000
  10. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows 3D June 3, 7:10 PM, 20% full Regal Hunt Valley Stadium 12, Hunt Valley, MD Trailers Warcraft Regal ad The Legend of Tarzan Stars of Hope ad, followed by brief footage of the movie Lego Batman (Wayne Manor teaser, laughs) Star Trek Beyond (trailer #2) The BFG 3D (trailer #2) The Secret Life of Pets 3D (trailer #3, laughs) Ghostbusters 3D (trailer #1, laughs) Ice Age: Collision Course 3D (trailer #3, laughs) Monster Trucks 3D (chuckles) There were some decent laughs throughout. I saw a family of people that were all wearing Ninja Turtles shirts.
  11. Who knows? TMNT opened in August when pretty much all schools weren't in session, while TMNT2 is opening when not every single school is out
  12. It wasn't the money that was spent on ads that made it successful, it was the actual quality of the ads. They sold the film's jokes off really well, and it brought in the audience
  13. Missed the word possible? Its yet to be proven on whether or not it actually did revolutionize the industry, but based on the facts that they now feel comfortable moving forward with an R-rated Wolverine movie and the fact that the Suicide Squad sequel could potentially be rated R, it seems likely.
  14. My estimates for how I think each movie in June will perform as demonstrated by emojis. TMNT 2 Popstar Me Before You The Conjuring 2 Warcraft Now You See Me 2 Central Intelligence Finding Dory Free State of Jones Independence Day Resurgence
