we all own Avatar on blu-ray but it doesn't stop us watching it when it comes on tv
If I’m in the mood to watch it I’d just put in the blu-ray. Better quality plus no commercials and editing.

You know which to watch
I own both so neither.

Got to admit it’s a little funny Avengers and Avatar are both on TV right now.

Kill Bill is technically a Disney film, you know.
I truly think Fox is going to be used similar to how Miramax was back in the day.

I can see right now that the Marvel's BP/IW 2018 combo will be what 2017's DC's WW/JL combo was but on a much bigger scale obviously...
IW will include BP but still gross considerably less.
I think the ability to not have to have seen other MCU and DCEU films helps play a role in why they’re outgrossing huge team up films. Where
it’d be easy to get lost if you haven’t seen at least a few or all the previous films.

Would be easier to list the movies that don't have an IW cast member in them
Forget Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon. The future will be Six Degrees of the MCU.

No matter how IW turns out at least Brolin knows he’s ruling the month of May.

Poor Samson. Black Panther’s even stealing its target audience.

BP and Wakanda play an essential role in IW, this performance will only help IW.
255/675M
Im sure marketing is going to play up Wakanda and BP characters in the marketing and some of the casuals from BP will show up to see them again even if they don’t care about Avengers, Thanos, or the Stones.

The highest grossing film of all time came out in Feburary
Considering the other options this year it’s hard to believe Black Panther is the one coming out on top.

Avatar really does seem possible. Meanwhile, gonna be a long, cold, and lonely next couple months with only me and my tent still in the IW>BP DOM camp.
I want to be a believer. But these numbers make it very hard.

All these people mentioning Annihilation and my theater isn’t showing it.

15:17 to Paris showing surprising legs despite the bad reviews. Should hit a 3x by next week and end with a 3.5-3.7x I think. It’s acting as the old people alternative viewing option.
I’m honestly surprised. Everyone in my audience seemed disappointed and felt it was a bad film. There was even some mocking of the “acting”. Yes they’re heroes but they proved why we have actors play real life counterparts in the first place.

Holy crap, this is at 95% audience score so far!
Well deserved in my opinion. Hoping WOM catches on. My entire audience loved it and there were even some claps at certain parts.

Guess this’ll be second priority after I see Annihilation this week
I had to go with Game Night due to my theater not getting Annihilation. Still worth it though.

One of the best comedies I’ve seen in a while. Meth Damon is a standout and the twists are hilarious.

What are you guys excited for this year from the studios?
I’m looking forward to Strangers, Hereditary, A Quiet Place, The Nun, The First Purge and of course.... Halloween!
I would be more excited for Truth or Dare I’d the weird cgi on the faces didn’t look so funny. We’ll see with that one.
Literally every single one you mentioned. Might give Truth or Dare a shot since Blumhouse surprised me with Happy Death Day which turned out pretty decent.

@Krissykins @75Live There's a really cool sounding horror film opening this weekend, albeit probably in like 25 theaters or something. It's called Death House and it's written by Gunnar Hansen and it stars a veritable who's who of horror from days gone by. Kane Hodder, Dee Wallace, Tony Todd, Sid Heig, Bill Mosely, Camille Keaton (The original I Spit on Yopur Grave), Tony Moran(the original Michael Myers in Halloween) Vernon Wells (Commando and Mad Max) and a slew of others. Basically this is supposed to the Expendables cast of low budget horror. I hope i can find this sometime down the road.
It’s coming out on Netflix in April. Really looking forward to it.

As perfect as Amazing Amy would be, Sophia Lillis is already playing the younger version of her character in Sharp Objects.
Thank You. So many people online are mentioning the resemblance between Lillis and Adams, and that’s why she should be cast yet have no clue she is already playing a younger version of Adams.
