    Slamma Jamma is looking to come in under $50K today unless some enthusiastic hoops or church crowds show up. River Rain clearly not ready for the big leagues.

    How can you tell how a film is pacing on IMDB? BOM uses this in their write-ups, sounds helpful but I don't see this data. Is it for Pro members only?

    Slamma Jamma had 100K trailer views. I figure maybe 1 in 3 will buy a ticket. It's a shame that one film will wreck so many Derbys.

    Ruling The Space Between Us as anomalous, my score on everything else was 92.5%. Very happy with that.

    SB weekend is rarely exciting but it has really trended to the toilet for years now. May be a long time before we see another $20m opener in this frame.

    I used to check area theaters but have backed off from using that as a predictive tool. I thought Xander was going to bomb when we sold 20 tickets for previews but clearly other areas of the country were more robust. We only sold 10-15 for Rings here, but then again, we only had that many for Bye Bye Man and look how that did.
