It's taught here in school that Probability is the chance of something happening.
Common English phrase would be "What's the chance of it raining today?", they want to know the probability of it raining.. a common answer would be "high chance"
Firstly I have to say that making above >0.5A is a massive achievement that any film that passes the gargantuan milestone should be proud of.
After A2 is released 0.5A will still mean $1.39b dollars but 0.5A2 will mean around $2b dollars.
I think people on here should stop butchering the word locked by using it so early...
same goes for box office reddit a comment that said "$2b is locked" had 60 upvotes! That's 60 people who thought it was locked, shameful.
Jim's Star Wars not only would be visually beautiful and have wonderful new alien life, it would be grounded by a story with big heart. It would feature the most intense Light Saber battles ever seen and amazing new science fiction including new ship/weapons designs and have the most incredible action sequences.
Honestly the thought of Jim's Star Wars is mouthwatering as a prequels and OT fan.
Imagine being a Star Wars fan and hating Jim for making Avatar because it's the #1 grosser so you muster up your best nitpicks (dances with smurfs, white savour, etc...) but you know that Jim would elevate the Star Wars franchise to new heights.
Well someone had to employ KK and give her power right? Who in there right mind would give creative control to a studio excec who doesn't even like Star Wars. Poor women woman shouldn't even have been given the opportunity to fuck things up.
They should have just made the prequels but without the cheesy dialogue and with better scripts... easy said than done I guess.
Not so hard to add a couple lightsaber battles and not make Luke lil baby who needs his milky from a disgusting alien cow
Avatar has the most important message of enviromentalism.. but no.. just a white saviour film. They really will try anything to detract from Avatar won't they?
I like your style I hope you stick around til 2020 it will be great.
That Jim quote is hilarious. He makes a good point there hasn't been an awe inducing film since Avatar.
