Probably best not to go down this path. It won’t end well. Not every trailer is for everyone but if you’re in most marvel and dc threads it’s easy to see who’s a fan of which franchise and who can be objective and who can’t.

Agreed on this part and I think we may be reaching that point tbh cause of what people are saying online. The good news is most of the general audience isn’t online so they can just go in blind and “if” the movie gets good reviews and a good score on RT that should only help bringing in people who are skeptical. I’m not expecting a huge box office but I’d like to see 600m. With regards to the critics as I was saying before I’m not judging anyone on what they do. Ezra has to live with what they’ve done and if it reaches the level that the movie has some backlash then so be it.

Of course but Keaton could help bring in an older audience. I’m not saying he will or won’t but if I had to guess and if the movie is well received it should help.

Do people over the age of 34 just not count anymore when counting dollars at the box office? I’d like all my money back if that’s the case.

I’m sure there’s people who feel the same way. It will be interesting to see reactions to this cause apparently it’s tested extremely well. But will some critics let Millers real life behaviour influence their reviews. I’m not saying what’s right or wrong, just curious to see what happens.

This is the most excited I’ve been for a cbm in a long time. I’m looking forward to all the dc movies this year but besides Superman, Flash was always one of my other favourites. I’m just so curious to see this movie already.

The majority of people invited to these premiers are huge fans of the genre, if they don’t get excited then your movie sucks lol. And it’s pretty easy to distinguish how a movie is from reactions.

That’s fine, then you should of included those other two movies and not only WW84, cause both the TSS and The Batman were received very well critically, and liked by fans and both came out after WW84 as well. Obviously you have a different opinion which is fine but that’s definitely not in the majority for those other two movies.

So we only bring up WW1984 and say we don’t trust DC directors vision but we just skip over The Batman or TSS that were both done well by their directors visions or even Patty Jenkins first Wonder Woman movie for that matter?

I’m pretty sure Gunn knows the difference in tone between a GOTG movie a TSS movie and a Superman movie. I get his humour isn’t for everyone in those other movies but I’m sure he’s read enough Superman comics to know what that movie should be, a big 4 quadrant movie that appeals to everyone.
