  1. precisely what I came here to say. fell behind TS3 this weekend and now it's 4th Monday is below it as well. I'd say best case scenario for it is $490M at this point, maybe a stretch more.
  2. was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction? earlier last week I posted a prediction on the 3day gross and drop for Dory. I think it was in a weekday number thread, but I can't find it. any help of that thread would be greatly appreciated.
  3. Thats 13 double digit million days in a row. If it can get it tomorrow it's going to go at least 17. SFA is the only film to do that. No film has done 18. If Dory gets tomorrow and over $14M on Sunday it has a legit shot as being the sole movie to accomplish it.
  4. when last Friday hit 23.2M, $77M weekend felt like the floor. then the film ends up a hair under $73M. proving that the weekends are indeed suffering a tad because of strong weekdays. so as you say, it's tough to expect a massive 3rd weekend as a result. regardless, the film is doing phenomenal and at this point it's the sixth fastest to its current domestic film (I think)... and it's a freaking animation. that's insane crazy
  5. exactly. Twitter this past week was a great indicator that Conjuring was going to suffer. the teens to early college kids were tweeting non-stop about Dory.
  6. crazy how much business Dory took from other films this weekend. even though it was attended higher by females, it really is a mega 4 quad film. that WOM is going to run crazy until Pets comes out.
  7. I pointed out the drop off Wednesday on another board. The rate at which it was failing on those two weekdays alone was a horrible sign. Went from 1.4M down on OW to 5.6M by end of the first week!
  8. that Friday number is sick. thanks for posting. when I saw $50M-$52M yesterday I knew that had to be way low. the late nights in my area were selling 70%+. before Thursday numbers came in I had set a $55M minimum Friday based on the low end pre-sales of my local theater. love seeing records slaughtered. here's hoping for a $145M OW, but as I have read here this morning even if it doesn't get there let's be happy in the fact this is an amazing accomplishment in our current dismal box office environment.
